This is my first post on these forums, so hi, everyone! I've been working out at a local gym for about two months now, and while I've started to succeed at my main goal of adding muscle, I've decided that I'd also like to lose some fat, especially around my mid section (although I know you can't target fat loss). The odd thing about me is that I'm 22 years old, 5-9, and 143 pounds, but I have love handles. My question is, how can I reduce my body fat while continuing to add muscle? For the past week or so, I've been jogging for 3 miles almost daily and I play basketball a few times a week--will that be enough to get rid of this fat? Or is this more about diet (although I should say that since I've been working out, I eat pretty healthy--little junk food, lots of water, lots of protein, lots of produce)?
