Hello. I'm Morgan, I've just joined today.

My current weight is 130 pounds... I am 5'4" and my ideal weight would be 110. I used to be 135 pounds maybe... Three years ago? I lost 15 pounds and was 120 pounds for a while. Then around August of last year I gained it back pound by pound and have been 130 for around four to five months now. I am very discouraged because there wasn't any major change in my diet or activity when I gained weight again. I do crossfit three days a week and practice golf the days I don't.

My diet isn't horrible (I don't like things that are too sweet, because I feel sick when I eat them and I don't really like to drink anything other than water) but I tend to overeat and eat very fast (my entire family does, its a habit that I grew up with.) Whenever I eat I just can't resist stuffing my face with food. I always regret eating how much I do and end up thinking about it for days... Sometimes I manage to resist but always lapse back into the same habits again... I also really love to snack. The other day I just totally collapse and bought a ton of cookies and chips and now I feel guilty because theyre just sitting in the pantry and I want to eat them, yet, at the same time, the thought of eating disgusts me.

I want to lose weight because... of my physical appearance. I really dislike the way I look, especially my legs. Everything is just too big and too soft.

My goal now is to a) eat less snacks b) portion control/eat slower c) eat more fruits.

Oh also, one other problem is that I recently moved and don't currently have a kitchen so I can't eat in, even though I want to. I've been eating out for almost a month now and I am sure this is contributing to my problem and I hate it. Also I cannot really eat fruits since nothing can be unpacked, as I am living in an unfinished house.

Welcome to the forum.

Your BMI is 22.3 which is in the healthy range.
Keep an open mind about your weight - because often people with a BMI similar to yours find that they are aspiring towards a figure which is more toned. They may in fact be happy with the same weight that they now have - they simply want to look differently and assume that is achieved by losing weight.
I feel it important that exercise should be part of your plan.

:iagree: with Omega. Adding exercise might see you achieving how you want to look. Working on your self-esteem is important. Try to start being kinder to yourself & seek help is you find that too hard. Take care xo

Hello! I know that this is in a the healthy range, but it is a bit in the high end... And yes, I would like to be leaner but I definitely don't want to bulk up with muscle! I will most likely look up some toning exercises in addition to the crossfit I do now...

I try to work on my self-esteem but I do find it quite hard! I kinda gave up on accepting myself lol.
