Hi all!

I'm 18 (and a half), born and raised in a suburb of LA, now attending UCLA. I started seriously trying to lose weight around last October. My stats...

Start Weight: 160
Current Weight: 151-152
Current Goal Weight: 150
Ultimate Goal Weight: 135

I'm just trying to exercise more and eat healthier, but Spring Break has recently threw me off plan. :( I know I need to get back on track, but it's Spring Break!

I'm 21 My names Della, Ive been away form the forum for a while finishing off some Uni work and getting my final essay done i can't belive ive done it 15000 words and all YAY.

Anyhoo even though i have been busy Ive been doing my bit every day and now I'm on to 35 mins on the bike burning 320 calories and then 200 stomach crunches followed by some leg things i used to do in dance when i was 15.

i haven't weighed myself in a about 3 weeks and i know i should but i want to step on the scales and think that i have achived something good for all my effort. I can tell Ive lost some around my belly and hips (thats where i hold it all) and I'm really happy that all of this does work and i can do it Just as I'm sure you all can too!!
 
Hiya i am 21, but just turned 21 so i have a year in the club before i have to leave LOL!
after avoiding the scales for months knowing that last time i got on them i was 162 pounds i got on them dreading that i was going to hit the 12st mark finally jumped on them yesterday and i was 12st bang on.. it was like i knew !! It is the heaviest i have ever been.. i jumped off and back on again and i was 11st 13.5lbs which made me feel better seeing an 11 and not a 12... after half an hour of weghing myself it turns out that the 12st on the scales came out more frequently than 11st 13.5lbs!!!

So i begun my diet yesterday and refuse to weigh myself until 2wks time so the 9th April is the big day... I am eating around 1500 calories a day and going to the gym 3/4 times a week for the treadmills and swimming..

The last couple of years i have been living on junk food.. and i mean that literally , no wonder i have piled the pounds on i was having at least one fast food meal a day, sometimes having fast food for dinner then tea!! i got to the stage where i no longer wanted any and craved healthy food ... and when you dont crave a mcdonalds anymore you know you have ate too many!!!

So best of luck to us all and lets see those pounds drop off!!
 
Hi im 19 (20 in june) i guess im kinda late joining the cub b/c i dont see as many postings. but im 5'4 and weigh a scary 202lbs. i have been going to the gym since the end of last year but i didnt change my eating habits which means... you guest it no pounds lost...

anyway im really focused on losing weight now...if there is anyone who would like to partner up and go along with me i would like it b/c i think that i just need some MOTIVATION.

i just started going back to the gym last week...oh yeah my goal is to go back down to 145lbs (my weight 2 years ago) well i have a lot of weight to lose and my goal by april 4th is to lost at least 3-4lbs!

Dear luvlynda, don't worry about how much weight you need to lose. Just keep it slow and steady and keep working at it, and you'll get there!

As for tips, the basic ones are the best, I think. Drink more water. Exercise more. Try strength training and HIIT. Eat less, but don't drastically cut calories. Eat more healthy foods, less processed foods, less refined sugars, etc.

Hey everyone! i'm Stacey i joined the site a while ago and havent posted much and then i saw this thread and decided to join the club :) I'm 20 years old and about 5'6" and weigh around 211. :( This past feb. i started working out with a trainer once a week and i go to the gym five times a week. So far i have lost 3 inches off my waist and 4 off my hips and 3%body fat. if anyone has any tips or suggestions i would love to hear them!!

I want to join! I'm a college student and school takes up all my free time, but I'm going home for a month with nothing to do. I thought I'd take up running in the morning.

Hey you guys!
I'm 19 years old,im an american currently living in Alexandria,Egypt.
I started this diet 2 days ago,my weight was 71 Kgs, now its 68.6-69 Kgs.
My height is 160 cms and my goal weight is 55 Kgs.
My biggest problem is that im an emotional eater and i tend to be lazy at times.
But hey im determined to lose the weight this time...not spending another summer fat :)
