Goal is to lose two pounds a week. 350 cal x 7 days a week = 2450 cal which is roughly 2 pounds.
 
I'v been hopping to catch a run on the Eliptical every day that I work out but since i'm in an Upperclassmen Elective Gym Class, which is reletively small, I get to work out everyday in the weightroom.
 
Hello. I am currently 16 years old and almost 17 in around 2 months. I weigh about 168 lb and is currently 4'10-4'11. As you can see I'm really overweight. My goal weight is to get to at least 115 lb before my senior year. So that means I need to lose around 53 lbs.
I am really hoping to achieve my goal :]
 
hie im turning 19 this year.. im not exactly overweight, it's just that i've put on bout 10kg the past few years and im desperate to lose the extra weight and look the way i was before.. cos relatives and people around me keep saying im chubby and round and stuff, it really sucks. im currently working part-time as a waitress and i get so tired after work that i hardly have any energy left to exercise.. so i end up trying to eat less..
 
Checking back in. In my last post I was down to 113-ish. Then this whole past week i was down to 110, until last night i mega-overate and it was late night too (brought on by stressful schoolwork). Had a 32oz icee/slushie, 99cent bag of chips, 4 cups of corn flakes, an orange, 2 salads (only topping was vinegar though), a big ham sandwhich, and 1 cup of those twizzler nibs. As of now im up to 113-114 pounds. Which, looking at it now doesn't seem that bad, it realy feels terrible after getting so low--which took alot of will power all week. Plus tomorrow is superbowl and theres going to be loads of food around. Anyway, not going to rly count the damage of last night until 24 hrs afterwords which'll be around 10-ish tonight. I'm 20 and in college. I used to be 126lbs but am now 166lbs and I hate it. I'm glad to have found a forum like this to help kick start my motivation. I'll send in weekly updates and fingers crossed I can do it..:)

i weigh 120 lbs and my target weight is 105lbs
i am 5ft3
so errr enough about me. i hope you guys are all still being successful - do any of you have weight loss diaries???

Hello! I was looking for a club like this!

I am 20 yo, I have lost 12 lbs since I started so I currently weigh 258. I am trying to lose as much weight as I can by the time I am 21 in november.

I am female 5'4" ( Im suppose to be 130 for my height but we'll see) regularbone structure. I just need some extra support my boyfriend is the greatest support system I have ever had. :)

Oh if there is anyone here that has lost 60lbs or more please pm me with how you did it! (female only as I can relate more.)

How many calories do you have a day, on average anyway?
Is it true when you are in teen years you can go quite low on cals safely?
 
Hey, I'm 21, I've been a "member" of this site for a while, but I have finally convinced myself to actually do something on here and for myself (plus I have a wedding coming up in June to prepare for.. so yeah.. :eek: )

I currently weight 167 but by the end of this year, I would love to be around 120-130, I'm not picky.. it would just be nice since I've not seen either of those weights since I was around 17 or 18.. so it'd be nice.

But I'm just hoping that I can find all the support that I need here because I'm not really getting it anywhere else and it would just be great if I could.

Posting back. I think in my last post i had overeaten and was feeling bad about that, but i got down to my lowest weight again of 110 and for the past week I decided I was going to try to get into a way of eating that I could sustain my weight and be full. So now for the past week I've eaten around 1000 calores to 1500 calories a day plus I, at a minimum do 1600 pushups a day, and I've somehow gone up to 120. Im really depressed now because of the hard work thats lost. Any ideas as to how this happened/advice would be great. I basically ate cornflakes and salad btw as my meal.

edit - Also I stopped my intake of caffeine all during this week as well, does this have something to do with it. I didnt want to waste any calories on a drink.

1600 push-ups a day! :shock:

What other kind of exercises are you doing? Our bodies get used to our routines so we need to make sure that we vary our exercises so that we can keep our body guessing as to what we're going to do that day. Maybe you could do push-ups one day, sit-ups another day, leg lifts another day, etc...
 
i'm a little late on entering to this one... :p

i'm 21, from nh, 5'6, currently at my highest weight, 176, and i am going to be a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding in on september 1st. her other bridesmaids are about 5'1, 115 pounds at most :eek: i'm hoping to do at least a pound a week, so roughly 30 pounds since i started, if more, that would be great!!! i don't want to be HUGGEEEE in comparison to them, and also...lovin time with the b/f just isn't the same since i've gained 30 pounds!!!!

i'm having a tough time keeping on track with the workouts, and my WEAKNESS is gummi bears...but every time i go for them i think about how pissed i was getting dressed that morning at how overly tight my clothes are.

well im 13 (is that 2 young?) and im 194(I KNOW ITS SHOCKING!!*weeps*) pounds and 5 foot 7 im an english dress sie 18 :eek: i wanna lose 70 pounds so far i lost 4 :D
