so heres what excercise i typically do in a week...but i need to balance it out more..so let us know what you think i should do

every day i cycle at least 6 miles, some days ill cycle 10-15 miles to and from uni/work/freinds houses/shopping
jim 2-4 times a week, normal workout is 20-40 mins on the rowing machines.
yoga 1-2 hours a week.
2-4 hours of juggling/poi general circus skills stuff.
on the weekends if i go out ill dance for between 8-15 hours straight (i love dancing and dance on stage at raves sometimes)

i know to some this seems like a lot of exercise but i recently lost around 25kgs and have a less solid belly, my body is a lot better now the only thing i want to do is tone my arms and stomach and get rid of muffin top. my legs and bum will sort themselves out with all the cycling which is already shaping them.

so what sort of exercises should i do to tone stomach and arms? i have access to the jim everyday and go regularly now, my body will look great once i get rid of this massive roll around my waist. and i wanna tyr and tone the tops of my arms off, the bingo wings have got to go.

I would say that weight resistance would benefit your routine. Man, I'm tired just reading about all you do though. ;)

foreveryoung,

I would definitely include resistance training in your routine. Optimally, this would be 2-3X week of total body workouts lasting about 45-60 minutes. I can get into more particulars if you want? What do you eat?

paulyost - yeah that would be awesome. thanks :)

in terms of eating well i'm a vegan so lots and lots of fruit, veg and whole grains. i eat very healthily hence the weight loss, just wanna get toning now. its weird i dont feel like ive lost a lot of weight but when i put my only pair of jeans on well the belt struggles to keep em up. i wanna measure my waist, it used to be 40 inches but now im a size 12-14 uk so must have lost a fair few inches.

*bump*

shameless but eh. i still want to know more about this resistance training people are talking about - what is it? have been the jim everyday now for the last 4 days, im on a roll so would love to get going with it.
