I started to lose weight on 4th June this year at 342lbs,as of today oct 25th I am 248lbs,with a long term goal of around 200.

The first picture is 11th june one week into my diet at 336lbs the second is today at 248lbs.My waist has gone from 56 to 42,still a long way to go but I feel I am seeing changes now,but the first 60lbs didn't really do much, even now its surprising how little difference 90lbs makes to a fat guy, hope the next 50lbs gets the waist to around 36-38 then I will be almost happy.

good stuff .... ill ask the routine question :gnorsi: how did you do it ? more so in 4 months

I try to keep it simple I eat 2000 cals per day,and weight train 5x per week, heavy weights 8-12 reps..I just started doing a bit of cardio this week, hill walking,as I would like to get a bit fitter.

I eat high protein usually 180g per day then make the rest of my cals up with whatever within reason,I am not anal about low carbs and that,I dont eat obvious rubbish like biscuits or crisps but I do still eat curries, and bacon sandwiches (not 12 at once anymore).I eat a lot of oats and peanut butter especially. The only thing I drink is water usually 3+litres per day,I am addicted to coke and diet drinks are not the same if I cant have coke I'll have none.

I did not aim to lose this much in nearly 5 months but I havent cheated on my diet once or missed a workout, and luckily up to now the weight just keeps coming off.I am never hungry and I eat about 5x a day,but like I say I have been consistent,it was hard about 2 months in though when my clothes sizes barely changed ,but now I can shop at normal stores and I am more motivated than ever.I bought my first XXL top today and I was 5XL in june.

I am a strange man and dont like many foods (ironic really looking at my size).I eat pretty much the same thing every day with a little variation when I started I thought I am not forcing myself to eat something I dont like because I have got to keep this up forever

7 am Breakfast:Oats and scoop of whey

10:00:Banana or almonds

12.00:Subway sandwich / Jacket potato

1.00: workout

2.00 Protein shake and banana

6.00 Usually Chicken and veg with rice/pasta/potatoes(made into curry or stew or just a roast dinner)

9.00/10.00 Usually peanut butter sandwich,or peanut butter and a protein shake.and I love a sugar free jelly at night as well

looks good,, i love bananas and oats so should be good to go ... my workout start at 6am thou ..

Looking at Body for life he reckons for fat burning you should train on an empty stomach anyway(even weights).

do you go bed early though as you could just move your times back a few hours.I eat late at night as I like to have something before bed, always have.

I dont think there is any benefit to eating multiple times per day I do it so I know I am going to be eating something in the next few hours, small meals all day long just makes it easier for me to stick to than 2 or 3 big meals. If I had my last meal at 5/6 I would be in the biscuit tin by 10 anyway,so if i leave enough calories for a late night meal its not a problem

You look great! Keep it up..I can see a differenece already!

And you are right that smaller movements on the scale start making a huge difference in looks the lower you go. I've noticed this especially the last 10 lbs it has been true. Maybe it is where I lost it too this last several lbs too(in the core area) that I really feel and see the difference.

Anyway, keep it up...you really are doing awesome! And that diet doesn't sound too bad to me..>I tend to keep it simple too since I don't often have the time to make really elaborate meals and I don't mind it..sometimes a piece of flaxseed bread with pb and a couple of hard boiled eggs just hit the spot anyway and I feel good about what I'm putting in my body too.

o man i know what you mean about how little u see a difference in a large amount of weight when ur very heavy. ive lost 77 myself. from 297 to 220 and i feel like "thats all?" but i have a feeling the next 50 is going to hit me like a train and make me really notice.

Thats pretty much my feeling as in my case going from 342 to 248 is going from obese to fat where as the next 50 takes you from fat to "normal".I like watching the biggest loser and in the few months they are at the ranch the progress is great but the biggest difference is in the last few months when they turn up for the finale these people are suddenly slim.

It is surprising how most fat men think of themselves as big blokes but it is surprising how small we actually are once the fat starts coming off,I always thought when I get to 200lbs I would be a stick insect.lol.

Great results so far! It helps me out going on line and reading that we all have the same problems. I hate the scale thing I judge on my size and that is sometimes hard to wait for. But it will come and when it does man what a feeling! Great job keep up the good work. Tina:hurray:

That':party:s terrific !!!
Way to go in four months
