70 pounds by October!

I want to lose 70 pounds by October 'cause I'm 15, and I weight 265 pounds and noticeably bigger than all my friends :( I wanted to lose weight so I could get a guy, but now I realise that I have to do this for me...

70 lbs in 6 months is a tall order..

but if you change your eating habits, and start getting exercise.. after having aconversation with your parents about what your goals are... and having them help you achieve them healthily - uou will be a lot closer to your goal weight than youo are today...

you're young and your body is still changing and developing - please be sensible about your eating plan -
 
a reasonable amount is 1 percent of your body weight a week -and some weeks - depending on your cycle - you might lose less... or more...

it's about 25 weeks - so at an average of 2 lbs a week - a reasonable goal is about 50 lbs :) which will put you at just about 200 and maybe even at 199 :)
 
You have to start somewhere.. don't focus too much on what you're end result is -but in changing your eating habits, getting exercise, drinking water, etc... and where you end up - you end up.. :)

mini goals work for some people - they really didn't work at all for me - I prefer the big picture approach but you could set up mini goals or milestones and don't make them so difficult that they get frustratig trying to achieve...
