7 weeks to lose the paunch?

In 7 weeks my boyfriend is coming to visit for a month (he lives very far away, and no it's not an online relationship - i was with him for a while before i moved back home).
I want to try and lose the small paunch that i have, and tone up my body, particularly my naturally big legs. What would be the best way to do this? Like if anybody could suggest a 6 or 7 week program that would achieve this or at least tone me up?
Im currently at uni but i have quite a bit of time to exercise, but i dont have or plan on getting a gym membership. I intend to do this all from my home using bottles of water etc as weights.
Can anybody suggest anything?
Some good bum exercises and some exercises to make my obliques more defined??

If you're giving me free reign here:

1) Fix your diet --> find out how many calories you need (freedieting.com) and track them (Fitday.com). At around a 500 cal deficit per day you should drop somewhere in the 1lb/week range.

2) Start FULL BODY weight training --> check out weight training stickies and pick a solid routine i.e. Starting Strength, NROL, etc.

3) Add some cardio if you wish, but since your time is limited, I'd go for it. If you're not conditioned, do steady state only. If you are, do 1-2 sessions of HIIT per week, total of 3 days of cardio in addition to your 3 day workout split

4) Make sure your diet is still good

5) Get enough rest

6) Check your diet again. Is it great yet? If not, make it great.
 
Try a Beachbody workout...

A beachbody workout is a fitness workout that can be done out of your home with little or no weights at all. Some are very tough and others are just tough. My wife likes to do the 10-Minute Trainer and will do 2-4 of them at once to make it a 20-40 minute workout. If you only have 7 weeks and love pain, look into the Insanity workout. You should definitely excercise but the key is your diet...just suck it it for 7 weeks to look your best!

Most of it is going to come from your diest. You will have to reduce your caloric intake by 30-50 percent.

What do you base that number on? It sounds like you're advocating dangerous fad diets.

I better way would be to eat healthy but adopt a reasonable negative calorie balance. Work out your BMR using an on-line calculator, factor in your activity levels then cut about 500 Kcals a day.
Mix in some cardio work and resistance training (see stickies in relevent threads) to aid in the fat loss and maybe add a tiny bit of muscle and hopefully you'll be able to drop about 4-5 lbs by the time your BF arrives.

If you really need to drop significant weight in a month then your best bet might be a ketogenic diet, so drop your carb intake to about 50g a day. Doing this will also cause you to drop a fair amount of water weight which of course isn't a perminant solution but if your just after making a good initial impression then it should do the trick. Only problem though is you might get dog breath from the diet
