Welcome to the forum.
Well done for making the first step - that is often the hardest.
I think that it is important that you believe that you can do this. You can - but I know what a big project is like and how it is easy to get into the mindset where you decide that it is too hard... You can do it - but any big project takes time... We cannot half our weight overnight...
You certainly have a wonderful incentive to lose weight in your daughter. She will be so thrilled as you become fitter and more able to play with her. I'm sure that your doctor will have mentioned that your life expectancy will improve as you lose weight (our doctor used to nag us every time she saw us - as if we hadnt noticed that we were big).
What are you doing to try to lose weight?
The first things that I did was that I cut out junk and takeaways and I started walking... It is great that you can still get around pretty easily... If you can get out for a walk that would really help things along... I found that it doesnt matter how fast you go... My first walk was around the block and it took me ages (and I did sit on a few garden walls en route)... I really got a sense of achievement from it and decided to do it all again the next day and added some distance as soon as I could... My husbands max BMI was in the 60s and he was able to start with slow walking too.
People that really cannot manage slow walking can still find that they benefit from weight training... Weight training builds muscles and muscles burn more calories than fat does... It can mean that you burn more calories during the day.
Naturally - we can add more things into making our food plan healthier as we go along.
