63 marathons in 63 days

I was listening to a this morning, and the podcast has an interview with Tim Borland, a young man who's challenging himself to run 60 marathons over the course of 60 days to bring attention to and raise funds for a rare children's disease,...

is his video blog of his adventures so far...

He's going to travel across the country for the next 40 some odd days and keep goiing - his last marathon will be the New York marathon in November...

After having walked 60 miles over the course of 3 days - I can't even fathom doing that for 63 days... but he's doing it...

The video blog entries are very cool and very touching..

Ok i have no clue how he does it cause 26.2 miles is a lot to run/walk in one day to me. I mean i don't think i walk more then maybe 10 miles on a busy day let alone a normal day at home. I would be exhausted beyond reason if i did 26.2 miles a day. Hats off to him thats for sure.

Jeez, good luck to him. I have a horrible suspicion that he will cause sever damage to his knees and legs by the end of this.

That's amazing, but I can't even imagine it. I had a friend that trained for the Iron Man competition and he said every time he ran a marathon some of his toenails would fall off. I don't know how you'd continue to run without toenails...

Anything is possible provided that he had a good pratice sessions

If a person can run Marathon distance in between 3 days why can't he run 60 marathons in 60 days

But I suspect whether he can do it?

Only a good Marathon Runner can do it as it takes a lot out of you to run in a Marathon Race
