1. Brush you teeth regularly and/or chew sugar free mint chewing gum. This freshens your mouth and breath which should motivate you not to fill it with junk.

2. When you feel the urge to eat fatty foods, think of the thing you are motivated by to lose weight [wedding, partner, sex life, appearance etc.]

3. If you can't deal with smaller portions, then fill up your plate with salad - lettuce, carrot [grated is nice], tomatoes, celery and so on.

4. Make food you really enjoy for your meals, or your diet will go out the window after a day. A diet you don't enjoy will not last.

5. Avoid snacking on junk food. If you are hungry have fruit or salad between meals.

Thats all for now - hope these tips help!

1) Workout everyday (even if it is as little as 25 minutes)- Fat burning only starts after 20mins
2) While working out make sure you work a sweat....
3) Drink more than 2 L of water a day and 4+L if you are active
4) Eat less than 1200 calories, it is not that hard.
5) Drink green tea, it boosts ur metabolism

4) Eat less than 1200 calories, it is not that hard.
You need to educate yourself a bit before you start handing out advice.

1200 cals is the very LOWEST amt of cals that any woman should consume. And thats based on weight..I certainly would not be able to maintain a 1200 cal diet based on my weight. Its not realistic. Men as well, theres no way they can maintain a 1200 cal diet either.

Maybe you need to read some of the stickies posted around the forum?

And when I say that we "can't maintain" a 1200 cal diet, what I mean is that it is in no way healthy for certain people to have a 1200 cal diet...let alone "eating less than 1200". You shouldn't make blanket statements.

Also, "make sure you work up a sweat" is very subjective. Some people are sweaters, some are not. What counts is making sure your heart rate is at peak BPM for at least 20 minutes. Another well thought out, blanket statement.

I was told by a doctor to eat less than 1400 [My body burns 1450 or something like that metabolically] ... I suppose yeah 1200 is too little, but its just what I do. And it really helps me. Sorry I didnt mean to offend people...

And about to green tea, I read in a lot of places that it helps fat burning process...Maybe I am wrong.
