Hi there,

I cannot believe I am here yet again ! What happened? Cake, biscuits, donuts, pizza, pasta, all things yummy and comforting. No fruit, hardly any veges , you know the deal...no exercise either.

I am a blob almost twice the size I should be.

Well my doctor told me to become obsessed with myself and my weight, with some encouragement from hubby , lets unleash hell on my fat !

Hello FaithyBaby,

I saw your post and thought I would take a moment to send you some loving words of encouragement and to tell you: you are not alone. This is something I have seen time and time again, both in my own life and as a personal trainer. A lot of people start achieving result and then end up back where they started.

What I have found is that the lasting changes really comes when you're able to make the inner sifts coupled wit the outward action steps needed for results. A lots of people just focus on the outside but miss out on addressing the root cause of their current issue.

The changes I sought after didn't come until i made the necessary inner shifts. One of the inner shifts that I made was to find my 'strong why'. This 'strong why' is what drives me and keeps me taking the steps forward. Things like what will it mean for me physically, spiritually, financially, mentally, socially, romantically, etc... if i DO follow through or if i DON'T follow through within the next year, 5 years, 10 years and even 20 years.

I hope this helps!

Hahahaaa, this was the greatest thing I've ever read. Love it. Well, a lot of us are in the same position, and in my opinion, this is the greatest website EVER, lol. It helps me stay focused, and tho there is the occasional day where I truly miss my bad foods, I like the direction I'm going more. Find something that works for you- whether it be counting calories(thats me :) ) or following weight watchers or something similar, it CAN be done. and we're here for you :D

Hi Faithybaby!

We've all been there! I've got almost exactly the same to lose as you! Take a deep breath and start again - you'll do it!

Positive thoughts! xxx

45kg to go to from fat to fit

Thank you Summer ! It will be a long road I feel, but with words of encouragement, I know I can do it. I will hopefully be able to offer words of care to others too. It is just 6am here and I know today will be a great day !

Thanks again for your post , it does not go unnoticed

Cheers Faith

Hi Madarri,

I believe we can get there, we are not alone and we all have rough times, but it is the people around us that can help us through. It does take time to get it right....

Cheers FaithyBaby:auto:

Well, I am up early today and I plan not to break my new diet. I have decided not to follow weight watchers, the atkins diet or any other diet. I plan to follow my gut instinct......

HI Madharri,

It is actually going ok. I have upped my fruit intake and just watched my portions. Have a long way to go , so I am taking it slow !

Looks like going with my Gut is not working....I got on the scales this morning and weighed in at 105kgs. OMG is all I can say. Maria my 10 year old daughter also weighed in at 75KG...double OMG. She is tall for her age , so perhaps she will grow into it. I have started exercising with her. So maybe we can do this together.

So seeing that going with the gut doesnt really work for me , I am going to tackle the weight watchers points system. I have had a really successful experience in the past so I don't see why I shouldn't this time.

I am allocated 23 points for the day.

So far I have had :

2 hardboiled eggs with nofat mayo on white plus 3 white coffees - 6 points

Lunch will be Tuna on 2peices of toast with low fat grated cheese - 6 points

Dinner will be a whole advacado on toast with lemon and pepper 6 points

1 Banana and honey on toast (2peices) - 5 points

Exactly 23 points for the day !!

Exercise today : walked around the football oval. (not much I know, but I was a puffing)
Walked down the road with hubby - huffing and puffing - he is really fit. 1/2 walk. 1 hour in total

I am planning to eat the same thing every day.
I am hoping to loose 3 kilograms by next Friday ( the first week I always loose the most on Weight Watchers)

OKay Fans, (hahahaha) over and out !

Faith :newangel:

Stats for first week of my transformation

Weight : 105kg
Upper Arm: 34cm
Bust/Chest: 115cm
Waist: 100cm
Hips: 122cm
Upper Leg :73cm
Calf : 40cm

Friday Night

Well, I did Great today ...when the sun was up.....now it is 11.30pm at night and I am thinking about what I can eat. I should be asleep. I normally wreck my healthy eating plans at night, usually from 8.30pm onwards.

It is soooo hard, but If I can remember what my husbands response and my inlaws response to my weight gain today perhaps I can just drink a bottle of water and turn off the dvd and go to bed.
:drool5:
Hubby Conversation:
Me: Oh my god , I have put on so much weight
Hubby: I know
:nopity:
Same with my Father in Law !! Except father in law said nothing at all !

Arghhh, I made hubby come for a walk with me today, incase I had a heart attack. We only went walking for 1/2hour.After my banana on toast this evening I had chest pains. I was thinking it was indegestion. It has gone now, so it must have been. It really scares me thinking I am at risk for heart attack or stroke(especially since I am a :sifone: too) I am also suffering with schizo affective disorder. :blush5:I have only just been diagnosed last year in May/June.

So I am a real mess hey. But there is only one way left to go now and that is down again(in kgs)

Looks like this blog helped me through that craving....:coolgleamA:

WOOO HOOO

Back again, I have to say that I am enjoying the whole "diary" thing, it is really helping me to keep a diary of what I am putting in my mouth.

Today we took the kids swimming and swam ourselves too for an hour or so. I bought a pedometer and some hand weights to walk with. I also bought the same for my daughter. She is already in competetion with me over how many steps she is walking !! Gotta love that, it is just priceless!! :newangel:

Breakfast was: 2x peices of dry toast with 1/2 cup of baked beans (2 tablespoons) and two white coffees 5 points
Lunch: Banana and herbal tea - I was at the pool !!1 point !
Afternoon tea: 1 Skinny cow chocolate sunday YUMMO 2 points
Dinner: 1/2 large advacado on dry toast with 1 tomatoe and 1/2 cucumber6 points

So far that is 19 points.....perhaps I will be naughty and have another skinny cow sundae later, or I may have the left over tomatoes and cucumber. BTW I have found some awesome tomatoes, that don't make your bread go soggy ! In coles, in a packet with 6 and they are nice and firm...more later.

10.23pm....hungry again....which is good because it means my metabolism is working !!

I had a 2.5 point toasted sandwich and another skinny cow 2 points

23.5 points for the day ....now

that is all for now fans

see you tommorrow !

ME TOO! I'm so glad I got my butt back into this website. It helps with everything... the whole journaling aspect- which I'm not good at just writing in a notebook- helps with it all- the emotions the cravings the addmissions... Love it. Also love that you and your daughter are doing "step" competitions! How great! Keep up the great work Faith :)

Hey Jesse,:waving:

Thanks for the encouragement!! Another day down with more great food choices. Used the pedometer today, only 5500 steps. I am going to keep a track of that too. I bet as you loose weight you gain more energy and then the step count will go up..

We went to hubbies parents place to dinner tonight. Luckily my MIL did WW and I dont have to say too much about what I am doing, I just say I am counting points and she doesnt push me to have dessert. It was excellent that I could eat what she prepared and stick to the plan...I even had pumpkin which I miss, I think I will do a load up of veges this week ! Or I may make the vegetable point free curry in the weight watchers book 1.

Today I have had:

1 x peice of toast with small banana = 2 points
1 x Advacado 2 peices of toast and tomatoe = 7points
1 x banana on toast with honey = 3 points
point free veges, small slice of ham and small serve of chicken = 7.5 points
1 skinny cow sunday = 2 points

Cheers to you my fans

Faithybaby

Today , Today, well I had a trial day at a new job and it went OK. I had a banana 1point
Then I had a chicked Breast and salad sandwich for lunch 4 points and then I had brown rice and brocolli for dinner..with some parmesean cheese. 8points. I will have a skinny cow dessert sunday later on !! Back for another trial go tommorrow and I should know on Friday about the job. It is good to go back to work as it forces a routine, which I can add my eating into.

Bye for now , not forever !

No reports for the last few days. Been really busy. Sorry fans, you know how it goes when you are a celebrity. Anyway, enough about me.....I have lost 2 kilos this week so now I have the edge < I am going to continue counting my points.....keep smiling y'all

So I fell off the band wagon again..oh well, I think if I try to post daily I will have a better chance at losing because it is really about accountability.

So today I have had 2 tuna and cheese toasted sandwiches and a can of baked beans.

20 points, just enough room for a skinny cow sundae. Back on the horse !!

I'm the same way! If I don't try to post every day, I tend to lean towards the more aweful habits. Telling everyone how horrible/amazing I do makes me wanna try even harder the next day. Keep going, we're here for ya :)

Looks like your on the right track. I've never tried weight-watchers ... I much prefer to just count my calories and eat lots of protein to stay full, but I know a few people on this site have had great success with it.

I usually try to have a day every week or two to indulge, that way to I can be happy and social and not stressed out over eating some pizza with my friends. Not sure if you can stockpile ww points like I do calories ... like eating 22 points/ day 6 days a week and then 29 points one day, but I found that system worked good for my lifestyle.

Keep it up!
