30 day shred question..

Hey all,

Found this forum while searching on google..
Soo my story.. I have lost 70lbs on a low carb way of eating. I started adding more exercise(30 day shred) to life 16 days ago.(before it was just walking)
I'm confused a bit on HOW to use this video.. I read everyday.. then other people tell me it is too much to do everyday.. and then others say like 4 x a week.
The problem I am having is this.. I have gained 3 lbs so far.. AND yes I know I have lost fat and gained muscle.. but gaining 3 lbs in 16 days is well just discouraging. I'm at a loss at this point. I DO NOT want to give up. I want to finish the 30 days, BUT I DO NOT want to gain anymore weight. I still have 10 lbs to lose.
At first with in days of stating work out, my pants were lose! I mean soo lose! And now 16 days in my thighs and calf muscles have gotten so big my new pants I just bought after losing 70lbs are getting SO tights. I dont mind a little muscle.. but again I am looking to lose weight and go down a size not have to buy the next size up!
Any advise would be MUCH appreciated!

I didn't see the video but as far as I know it's some kind of 20 minute interval-cardio-strength-training thing...which is good!
I would recommend starting with 3 times a week and do some cardio on 2 days a week. If you haven't done any strength training before that should be enough. Even though it's only 20 minutes (if I'm right) your muscles will be exhausted and need some time to recover. You still have to watch your diet!! Make sure that you have enough protein intake during the day to build muscles (no, you won't get too bulky!! ;)).
