Hi everyone,

I've just registered and to be honest I've never belonged to a forum before. I'm just getting to know the ropes but hopefully I'll be clicking along in no time. I have about 45 lbs to lose and have made several attempts but with no luck. I lost the weight once before in 2000 and kept it off for 3 years ... it was after 7 months of chemotherapy that I started putting it back on. BUT I've had enough! I'm tired of my clothes not fitting and I'm here to proclaim that I'm going to do something about it! I've read many of the postings and am totally inspired by so many people here. It's nice to know that I have such good company on this journey.
Thanks to all of you!

Love the positive attitude. You had chemotherapy, which means you have battled cancer. If you can handle this, you can certainly handle a healthy weight loss!! Best of luck to you, and if you need anything, you know where to find me!!! :)

Hi Trishy,
Welcome to the WLF and Congratulations to you for getting through chemo - as Steve said, you can DEFINITELY take on a healthy lifestyle change :)
