25/M Need to lose some weight

Motivation is lacking. I weight in at a smooth 220 at this moment, standing at a height of around 5'7. I know the tools on how to lose weight and what I need to do to lose it but I lack the energy and desire right now.

Where I started is my father is overweight and I get it from him. I was always chubby but not really obeise. I am very active, I like sports, I love to run and ride my bike but in the last few months I have been stalled out. The lowest I got while on a plan is about 190. My goal is to be around 170 or so. I just wanna lose the belly fat. The highest I've been is 255. So right now I am kind of inbetween of where I wanna be.

I live about 200yards from a YMCA. I just need some motivation to go. I need a buddy to help keep up with me and track my progress and give some words of encouragement every once in a while. If you wanna help thats cool. I am just looking for a friend that I don't know and is friendly and helpful. I will take before pics and give updates along the way.
