21yrs Old & Battaling the big 200-

April 28 - May 2nd

Well this week I have no time to go to the gym at all, I have so much to do. With my birthday being this week and my parents comming this weekend I have been behind on cleaning and organizing my house. As well I had to deal with my tax situation as well. Which is stressing me out. I hopefully will be filing tonight and that stress will be over with.
Today was our monthly staff meeting and Instead of eating the greasy chineese food we had ordered I went and got a garden salad with chicken. Just as satisfing and I am sure 1/2 as many calories. Plus I wasnt tired all day like everyone else. Today being my birthday I did induldge a little I had 2 choclates that I was given from work. They were amazing! I am hoping to stay neutral this week and not gain any weight. Since I am not going to the gym I am trying to balance that out with lighter options and some at home abs and pilates moves. Hopefully I will burn enough calories to keep me from gaining and may even lose .5lb or something.
Well I am going home for the day it is past quiting time here :)
Will write later on.

Hey camy, how is your weight loss coming??

Hi Amanda :)

Just come across your diary, so thought I would say hi :D:D You're doing so well and you seem soooooo committed to your work outs! Wish i enjoyed it like you do - just cant seem to get up the motivation and pretty much hate every minute! Myhusband has been fab at getting me to the gym tho, and once im finished my workout i usually feel really good!

Im hoping that all this exercise will make my many excess pounds come off a little faster!

Keep up all your good work!!

Tx

Here is my advice.... From my weight loss journey so far

Buy healthy groceries - that way you have nothing but healthy food to eat at your house, making it harder to binge on crap.

Find the one thing that you love and make it better for you - Me for example I love, love , love ice cream. I dont eat that anymore but I do enjoy Vanilla yogurt ( fat free) with berries and orange juice and ice in the blender. Tastes just as good but 1/2 calories ... and guilt!

Take as many oppurtunites as you can to walk more or exercise- I started dinging the stop bell on the bus before my stop and walking an extra 5 minutes, I also started doing simple abs and leg workouts while watching TV.

Make time to pamper yourself - Do your nails, Get your teeth whitened the more confident you are about your appearnence the more you will want to keep it up.

Make small goals- I try and just Aim for the 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week goal, If I get more thats great. But I dont beat my self up if I am a little off. Progress is progress.

Exercise- Once you start and find your niche wether at the gym or at home, you will enjoy it. More importantly you will enjoy the way it makes you feel afterwards.

Beggining of spring.. ...

Well the weather is nice and there is nothing more motivating then going shopping for new summer clothes in my thinner body. I bought a pair pf 32' paints, used to wear 34 - 35.... yay! I had a great weekend, Gym on friday for 1 1/2 hr and gym on sunday for 2 hours. Saturday me and my boyfriend spent some time together, we went to play mini golf and went for a walk. I really enjoy being outside in this weather ( + 20 Celcius) Today I went to the gym early in the day and got home and watched a movie then decided I should be more active outside while its nice so I raked our whole yard .. what a workout!!! ....

On mothers day - we went to Swiss Chalet which I hate... anyways I ordered a quesdilla. Thought it was a smart option - peppers, onions, tomoatoes whole wheat wrap, chicken and cheese.... It said grilled on the menu and came DEEP FRIED. I was soo mad, we were in a hurry though so I had to eat it only ate 3/4 of it. Ever since my stomach has been killing me. Not used to those high fat foods like that anymore. ... Well I am going to head to the gym. Please if you have any advice about diet let me know.

Wow! you'r doing so awesome in such a short time! You can totally tell the difference!
I look forward to following your journal and some tips, as I am the same age and height and stats as you... And I REALLY want to achieve something this year! I am really excited...but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do to get to where I want to be. It's hard to set realistic goals for oneself sometimes...
P.S. I live 2 hours from calgary... how kewl is that ? ;)

So it has been a while since I have written ( took a couple months off from the Gym) but I am Back with more motivation then ever. Here is the story...
I recently just went for my breast reduction consultation and hopefully will be going under the knife with in the next 6 months. I am super excited but also want to make sure I am at my best I have the surgery so that I don’t get saggy skin afterwards. Ideally I would like to drop 30 more pounds since I have started this journey I have kept off about 10 pounds. I was down 17 this summer and gained 7 back through the course of 4 weddings, a camping trip and many fun nights spent with friends and alcohol dancing the night away. I finally found someone to work out with, A lady at my work is having the same surgery as I am ( Breast Reduction) even with the same surgeon and we both would like to lost 30LBS before the surgery. Our goal is for the End of April. We have decided to go to the gym 3 times a week (Tues, Wed, and Thursday) together right after work for an hour. Tonight will be our 3rd session together and so far its going great. I can’t believe how much more fun working out is with someone along your side to motivate you and keep you on track. I will also be attending the Saturday morning aerobics class to give me a boost. We have both weighed in I currently stand at 195.5 her at 160 (she is 4’11”) so by the time we are done I should be about her weight (160 ish) and she will be at 130, after the surgery I will most likely weigh about 1505 ish. I am so excited. Still haven’t gotten a proposal from my boyfriend yet but I am hoping that it is coming within the next 6 months. I just need to keep focused. Still reading lots about Nutrition and have started taking Greens + to balance out my PH levels. All in all I am very happy these days and can not wait to be at my goal. Will try to post as often as I can when I am on my lunch break. Ta ta for now.

It sounds like you're off to a great start. I just started diet/excercising last wednesday and it sounds like we have a lot in common. I weighed 197.5 last week and now weigh 192.5. (I hate having gigantic boobs too, always have hated it so I feel your pain there!) Anyway, feel free to talk. I need motivation too! I cracked tonight and proclaimed Friday nights as my eat anything I want to night. I ate two bites of a salad, three chicken fingers, fries, and drank a dr. pepper!!! I definetly have to go to the gym first thing in the morning! Keep up the good work and you look beautiful!

Welcoem back,
I remember you! Well done for maintaining the 10 pound weight loss... I also took a hiatus during September and also maintained, which I think is really important, because losing will be a few months (or years), but maintaining will be the rest of our lives!
Great plan to have a weigh loss buddy, I don't have one (had one initially but she deserted me) but my man pushes me to go to the pool every day, since he is a swimmer and I don't want to look like a wimp to him so I try my best every day. It made a huge difference!

Large breasts are a bit of a pain aren't they? How big are yours? Is there a medical reason for the surgery (backproblems) or is it mainly about how you feel? Both are equally important because one affects the other massively!
I think that having a plan is like 50% done already, because now you just have to follow your own guidelines and you will see the change in no time.
Have a wonderful weekend, Camy

I am totally straight, but wanted to say good luck and keep to it. I saw the pics you first posted and you are gorgeous at any weight, but if this is to be healthy then more power to you!
