20lb gone club

well, i am going to re-start today (friday) so I don't thinkI should post my weight this monday, I'll post next monday.

I've decided to really give it my all this week. Really excersize and eat right and hopefully I'll have some real nice results on monday

I thin you should post anywyas... I think that everyone who wants to do this should post their current situation on Monday. That way we can figure out who is going to do this with us, set the goals for the week, and all be there to encourage one another. How about in this forum we post simply our current situation, goals and needs for encouragement, and then we go to one another's diaries and encourage throughout the week. So PLEASE post on Monday.... even if you don't feel like you have accomplished anything. Make it your start.
 
I'm gonna go ahead and start us off for this week :)
Technicly it is monday even though it is very early in the morning and I can't really sleep..it's 3:50am. I just weighed myself and I am 232.5 pounds. I started on Good friday, March 24th 2005 at 244 pounds. That is 11.5 pounds in a little over a month. I'm sure it will slow down as this is the first month and made some dramatic changes in lifestyle. Last Monday I was at 236 so I have lost 3.5 pounds this week. I ate healthy smaller portions and about 5-6 small meals a day. I also drank a LOT of water and did 30-45 min of cardio every day but Sunday. I also did muscle toning 3 days of this week including arm, ab, and leg work. I'd say it has been a great week fr myself, good luck everyone! :D

Starting w/ 20lb club: 154

Today's weigh-in: 148.5 =)

What I need encouragement on this week: drinking my water!!!!

Goals: drink 64oz every day, exercise for 30 min/5days a week.
 
weight when i started-174 lbs
weight now-162lbs
lost this week-2lbs :D (i'm so happy w/ this number it get's me to the 100lbs mark i love it)
goal for the week-loose another 2 lbs,keep at the exercise,keep eating right and remember to take my supplements.
 
Hmmm looks like im the slacker I lost 400g this week so that takes my total loss for the last 3 weeks to …..Wait for it …5oog. Sad I no but I will kick ass this week.

so no surprise but I didn't loose this week, didn't gain either, but thats not the point. I saw my bro in law yest. he lost 70 pds in 3 mths....can you imagine! Ugh, I seriously going to step up. I just have to do this I'm tired of feeling like a failure.

Ok well guys I know it's a little late but I'm joining in! I think it would be a really good way to get back into the groove. I'll way in tomorrow morning and keep you all posted on my progress. :) Korrie you're not a failure. you're an amazing woman who's going through a rough time. You're right, we're all back now. So finally of my mini plateau.
Three more lbs until I hit my 75 lbs goal, which will be the third 25 lbs goal. Looking back at last october I would have never imagined myself here. I really didnt even know where to start. I had given into to the fat. It really does not take all that much to change a lifestyle, what we think to be hard, actually turns out to be so rewarding both in health and physical appearance.
Just seeing that initial weight loss is what motivates you to keep going. Ya know, the snow ball effect.

We were at our friends house the other night and her daughter spilt her dinner all over my pants....and well my girl friend was quite shocked to see that her pants fit me (ACTUALLY SO WAS I). I didnt take offence to it because for so long she has seen me as big and well she is one of those people that never see themself as a little over on the scales. It amazing what a few months dedicated to me has done. But without you gals I know I would have not have got here. I owe you all big time.....and will keep trying to motivate you all to where you want to be!!!!!!!!

Just lets keep going!!!

Well i'd like to join this club too if you don't mind...
it's not monday but i'll post what i weighed on this past monday...i think this will help me stay focussed!
Weight before serious weight loss attempt! = 160
weight on monday = 151 (only noticed the loss this last weekend)
goal by June 4 (7 weeks) = 140

goal for this week = 4 days working out...HIIT 2x(20mins) IT 2x(30mins)
weight training for 3 of the 4 days NEED TO DRINK MORE WATER!!!!! (currently 3 bottles a day, if that)

need to fit in a strapless dress with sculpted arms HAHAHHA (wish me luck)
 
Hey girl! Same here! I have a wedding that I'm in, and lucky me they picked strapless! I have quite a bit more to go though. LOL! Good luck! :) Glad to see you joined as well. I've yet to make myself hop on the scale...I'm going to do that tomorrow!
 
Yup!!! Those dredded strapless dressess!! But atleast we'll look HOT in them huh!!! June is not too far away...I have another wedding in September to go to..maybe by that time i'll have my J-Lo body!! LOL hmmm Halle Barry...Janet Jackson!!! which ever one will do fine!!!! hahhaha Good luck girl...we'll have to post our strapless dresses one day!

well... i think my scale might be broken... or else i just didn't lose any weight this week...

Starting weight: 154

Current weight: 148.5

Weight loss this week: 0

Goals for next week: I want to lose some weight!!! So i'm going to make sure my intake of calories stays between 1200 and 1400 - I had quite a few days that went over this past week. I have alot of "free" time because classes end on Tuesday - so that gives me more of an opportunity to work out.

What I need help with: Drinking enough water!!!! Eating just a few less calories this next week!!!
