20 Male - Help with a plan!

Hey folks,

I'm a 20 year old male I weigh 110kg (242.5 pounds). I really want to loose weight for health reasons and to feel better about myself.

I don't have a plan nor have the extra money to go to the gym and vigorously work out. I was hoping for a plan that would revolve around the environment i.e Running/jogging etc.

I know that sounds stupid but if someone could give me a basic plan that I could eventually expand on myself It would be great. I'm totally dedicated to getting fit and healthy, after years of abuse on my body I want a change. So if anyone out there could please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Soex,

Take a look at my thread and my reply to another lady (both should be near top).

I'm in the process of losing weight as well.

Good news is, if you work out/diet you'll feel the first few pounds come up fairly quick.

You'll need more time to develop a walking/jogging habit though. Don't force yourself to jog at first because you might end up hating it and giving up. PATIENCE is key.

3800 calories = pound

500 calories a day + light exercise = pound a week

You'll probably see a little more than that though.

I always remember this advice:

"It took years to put on that weight so we need to remember to be patient when putting it off"

It takes a change in LIFESTYLE. Otherwise, we always end up reverting. Good luck!
