Hey!
6 days a week is a lot ;) But I'm glad you left yourself one day leeway! I'm planning to do my workout (at curves) 5 days a week! (and possibly once on weekends, but goal is only 5). We'll have to keep eachother in check :)

bleh, I didn't make good food choices yesterday.

I had the fajitas at a mexican restaurant for lunch: ate about 1/2 of the fajita mix, all three tortillas, and about half of the rice/beans, guac, tomatoes, etc... so who knows how many calories. I did count how many chips I ate and left it at 12ish... with LOTS of salsa. AND I only drank water

But for dinner... mac and cheese. with tuna fish. which normally is pretty good and only about 400 cals or so... but I think my fiance added velveeta to make it extra cheesy.... so who knows.

THEN I had two brownies and a piece of cheesecake. ACK! I think I didn't have enough fiber or something with dinner b/c even though I ate alot, I still had the munchies. That whole 50 tips thing that mal posted suggests something minty after a meal - I may have to chew a piece of gum or brush my teeth to help with those cravings.

today - I'm feeling slow. I over slept, and its cloudy outside so I don't feel like going for a run. I was at work late, so I can go in later, so I have no real excuse. I need to go run when I'm done posting.

Aww, well don't dwell on the food - and Salsa isn't too bad for you is it?
You'll have a better day today :)
I am quite jealous of your brownies and cheesecake ;)

Maybe try just going for a walk instead of a run? Who knows, it might turn into a run! It's cloudy and miserable here too...but hot and muggy - super gross

Great job on the run/walk!! Itmust be hard if it's all hazy from the fires like you said - does the air smell different too? I'm just waiting until 1:00 to head to CURVES (In case I get a supply call for hte afternoon, lol).

We're doing great :D *pat on the back*

I'm thinking pilates this morning to give my muscles a rest... but I also just got on facebook last night and so its really distracting... eek!

Pilates sounds good - though it's usually killer for me if I haven't done it in awhile - buns and thighs oooh man! lol.

Haha, facebook IS distracting! Yikes! Look me up if you want ;) Nicole Johnston (Waterloo) I think...

argh... bad food day yesterday...

bkfst: cereal (220)
lunch: burrito w/ all the toppings at mexican restaurant + chips and salsa (?)
snack: trail mix (250)
dinner: pasta w/ meat sauce (?) + 3 glasses wine (270)
snack: whole bag of popcorn! (500?)

exercise: wimped out and did like 20 minutes of crunches and pushups and stuff like that
h2o: 32 oz

i felt so awful after eating all of that popcorn... mostly b/c i was still considering grabbing some ice cream... blast it!

my fiance is helping me make better choices, and so he gently encouraged me not to have some... which was fine and didn't hurt my feelings, only i started regretting the bad things I had already eaten, and regretting not exercising... and so I felt bad and he thought it was his fault. I need to let him know its not.

todays food:

bkfst: bowl of cereal (220,30) + milk & whey protein (145,27)
lunch:
snack:
dinner:

total cals: 365, 57
h2o: 16
exercise: 35 min run/walk

I'm heading back to Iowa for a few days on Tuesday.. but when I get back, I'm planning on getting some low-fat yogurt, and mixing in my whey powder and adding granola and having that for breakfast most mornings.... it sounds YUMMY!

You're allowed to have some bad days without being too hard on yourself - use them as reflections - WHY were they bad? What time did things go wrong and why?

- I find if I don't have a good protein breakfast -lunch is BAD which leads to bad dinner and bad snacks - I learned this from my my eating days.

Sounds like you're getting back on track fast ;) I like to hear it! Keep up the exercise - even if you only did some crunches etc - it's WAY BETTER than nothing at all - good job :)

I think I get so frustrated when I have a bad day - especially when I'm just getting into the swing of things, because it takes me back all the way to where i was at the beginning. In the past week, my weight has fluxuated from 151 - 154 all the way back to 151 now. And i'm determined not to let it swing back up. I'm going to get below 150!!! =)

I haven't been posting food on here as much - mainly b/c i'm not entirely proud of it, and also because I haven't been eating a lot of meals I have prepared for myself and can figure out calories for.

today i'm heading back to iowa for 6 days, and so who knows what my food will be like - i'm going to try to be good!!!!

bkfst: milk & whey protein (145, 27) + 2 eggs & black beans & salsa (270, 80)
snack:
lunch:
snack:
dinner:

total cals:
h20:
exercise: 30 min run

OH! I have done good on exercise recently - yay!!!

The one thing that I really really really need to stop doing is having wine or beer with dinner nearly every night. it puts a damper on my fat burning, and that is the exact thing I DON"T need right now.

I have a big problem with beer too - it's the summer! lol, But like you said, it really dampers things. That's great that you've still been doing goodwith your exercise - even if your food hasn't been great. That's how it's been for me lately - great exercise - bad food. BUT, at least you're still doing SOMETHING! For me the exercise is a BIG feat - because I've never really stuck with exercise bfore. lol.

WIll you be posting while you're in IOWA? I'm sure you 'll do fine while you're there :D

i hope to post sort of regularly... tomorrow is a really busy day and thursday I have an upper gi xray - which means my food for the day will be way off... we are trying to determine if i have a tummy hernia, or if i have a gallbladder problem, either of which could be causing some burping and acid reflux.... so depending on how i feel that day - maybe not.

the weekend is busy too... saturday, I get commissioned as a minister in the united methodist church! and sunday we are driving for like 11 hours back home, so who knows...

LOL - Sounds like two really unregular days - just remember to drink lots of water! That you can usually do no matter where you are and what you're doing. I'm trying to make water my day-to-day goal while I'm rocking the exercise (to help digest all the crap food I'm eating, lol)
