Hey DJ-Spaz,
Think of it like this when it come to weightloss.
Your body is a machine, if you thrash it it will wear out and not perform well in the long run!
My recommendation to you is to get active and stay active through out the day, get into a combination of activities that will keep your body running all day long, fuel it with only what it needs to perform, good foods at the right portions, dont eat till you are full, just guage you days activities, the energy that you require and eat accordingly. for example
Today I knew that I was going to have a 3-4hr surf from 4am so I ate a small slad with tuna before hitting the beach, after that I laid into some sushii.
But now I am just chilling out at home til tomorrow (my day off yay for me) so I will have a light dinner.
I also find that making a workout a focus activity can be tiring on people so I tend to combine things a little, while watching TV I sit on a training ball and bounce a little over several hours, sound silly, but it is a great lower back and ab workout, very low impact keeps my body burning fat, and doesnt require much in the way of focus. stay active, eat according to your needs and say goodbye to them unwanted pounds.
Doing it this way will also help yo maintain your fitness and desired weight without that dreaded rebound that comes from intense workouts to not working out.
peace
