hi my name is wilson. i am a 16 yr old boy in sydney who in currently in yr 12 and is new into this site and society.
i weigh approx. 87 kg and is 1.7m high.id really like to lose weight before my school formal/graduation this year and feel comfortable there as it will be my last day of high school. i have trouble going outside feeling comfortable they way i am. this obesity results in a pessimistic personally which is just plain pathetic. im so pessimistic that i cant even go for a girl where all my friends have already been in a relationship. besides that i saw cohens lifestyle program on the 6.06.08 on chnnl 7 and i wondered if it is true. please people of cohens, tell me the truth about this because i dont want to waste time on scamming programs. how much does it cost, what is required for the program, is there any clinic located near the sydney stations in the city. ive read some comments and saw that cohens cost alot of money. as a student in high school theres not much of a way i can earn my own money to pay a large some of money. how much is it exactly ?. i live life with friends, mostly guys. sure if great to have mates around but to hang out with girls and to commit into a relationship with a girl is something entirely different being mates. im usually shy since i have low self esteem and is pathetic at everything eg relationship education. at least i should be able to take care of myself and keep in shape. i lack motivation and inspiration from people and i sure as hell need if i wanna lose weight and live life, or else ill live life in miserable perhaps being fat to the age of 60 and die then. please help me with the cohens information and help me live life early. thank fellow peers for your help, motivation and support.

87kg doesnt seem overly overweight, and being young is definatly on your side. I think if you cant afford cohans (which isnt really a scam but it is expensive for somebody still at school).
I think you would do better just dropping out the shit foods and joining up in a sport. Take up swimming, cycling, squash, or running which should burn a fair few calories pretty quickly.

Cohen's

Hi
I'm a 19 year old girl and I started Cohen's on the 28th Jan and so far I've lost 23.5kg. When I started I weighed 87kg and had tried the gym to lose weight or eating healthy but couldn't keep at it. I know what it's like to be overweight at school, I was the biggest out of my friends and always felt unpretty or couldn't find nice clothes to fit. Doing this diet has changed my life. I love the fact I don't have to exercise, though now I have lost weight I want to. It makes you feel healthy and the weight loss is fast. Many people disagree and say it's not healthy but being obese isn't healthy.

When I signed up the program cost $680 but now I think it's $750. If you go on this diet you must be prepared to weigh your meals and it's very strict. You can't have a little bit of this or that, you can only have whats allowed on the program. If your not prepared to stick to it, then there's no point wasting your money! I thought I might struggle not even being able to have a treat but now it doesn't even bother me. I don't crave them foods. There are clinics in Sydney and I think some clinics let people pay off the plan but I'm not to sure. You should have a look on the actual Cohen's website. There is also another forum where it's only Cohen's people, and if you want the benefits of the diet just read the success stories. Maybe Cohen's is a "scam" but really who cares, all I know is that is works and it is life changing.

Hi WilsOn!

Your story reminds me of my son who is now almost 21 years old. When he was about 16 he made up his mind all on his own to start dieting. I had been talking to him about trying to eat low carb and trying the Atkins diet, but it didn't seem like he was listening or paying any attention, and then all of a sudden he just wanted to do it. In a little less than 2 years he lost half of his size - he was about 380 pounds and dropped to about 185-190. He didn't do any exercise for quite awhile and then as he got going with the weight loss he eventually started getting more active. He has pretty much kept it off now. If the weight starts to creep back on he starts watching what he eats again more carefully and gets it back off.

I am still amazed that he did it, and am so proud of him. It is inspiring to me, and thought it might inspire you too. I still don't know how he got his mind so set that he just NEVER went off of it and stuck to it so dedicated for so long. YOU can do it too!!! Best wishes to you!!!
