11 day diet does it work

There is no magic, really. No such diet that would melt your fat away overnight... sadly.

I only started to lose weight when I found out that metabolism is responsible for all overweight worries. Improve your metabolism and you will lose weight an keep it off forever! Losing weight is not difficult (am I saying this?? ... I was struggling for years! :willy_nilly:) - you just need the right path!

Drink more water, eat regularly, eat breakfast, eat small portions and more often - these are for the right start ;) No exercise necessary!

That's what I thought (about fat melting away overnight) until I found my program. The truth is, when you put in the nutrients your body needs (all of them) plus gentle cleansing herbs, all Superfoods, your body will function like it should - ie...the organs will be cleansed and then will continue to cleanse the body of toxins and junk. When the body has a clean environment it can more effectively burn fat. The biggest thing is finding something natural and safe and I believe that I have found it. Yippee!!
 
it is not healthy to loose weight too fast, your body system will get shock, I think lose weight step by step will more safe and will not bounce back.

Iamfire, many cleansing programs are scams. Most cleanses just strip the body. Can I politely ask you if you have tried them all, if any? I agree 100% that our digestive systems are designed to cleanse themselves - when you feed them all the nutrients they need. They need organic minerals and vitamins - that's why we eat - to provide our bodies with minerals and vitamins to make it function, produce energy and eliminate waste.

The biggest scam is the food industry that tells us processed foods are good for us and that our commercially grown fruits and vegetables are covered in herbicides and pesiticides and grown in depleted soils. If your food does not have the nutrients it needs your body can't cleanse itself. Also, our bodies were not designed to bear the toxic load we throw at just by breathing the air, drinking water, eating toxic food and so on.

I feel blessed to have found something that works wonders. Good luck Iamfire with your health goals!
 
Cleansing and 11 day diet

I can not quite agree with all of you, since I did the 11 Day Diet myself, which due to eating more unprocessed foods also cleansing your body.

It worked really well for me.

As for 11-day diet. I will be totally blunt about it, it does not work. All it does is make you lose few pounds within few days, then some gain weight at the middle of the 11-day period, some lose... it depends on the reaction of the body to diet. After the 11-day diet? What is in store for the person who is into that diet?

Let's just be vigilant about it, and think over and over again if it is really designed to work for our body and can give optimum results that would be achievable in the long-term.

Maybe it does not work for everyone, maybe you didn't follow the diet close enough, but all I can say is, that it sure worked for me and a lot of people I know, who tried it.

reality disagrees with you. along with about every doctor and nutritionist in the world.

losing weight does not mean anything. losing pounds on a scale does _not_ mean you are losing fat.
 
If you think it's not going to work before you have even tried the product, you are not giving yourself much of a chance are you? I am sick of hearing people bagging out programs they have never tried before or if they did try it, did not follow it to a T..... As a result they influence other people who are willing to give stuff a try.... The bottom line is if you think you can, you will... have faith that what you want will be... and get on with it..

So no, no need to try it to know it doesn't work, at least not in a long term, healthy way....logic, science and plain old common sense are enough for me, thanks a lot!
 
Guess what, I have had my body fat measured after the 11 day diet and I'm at a healthy 20%. Get them apples...

Yeah, cleanses = scam. Pure and simple. There's no need to "cleanse" your body or your digestive system or your liver or any of that. If you want to fast for spiritual or psychological reasons, that's a whole 'nother ball of wax ... but the idea that you have to cleanse your system? Pure D BS.
 
Wow. People have been talking about this one for years I see. I didn't pay $55 for the diet. That would have been too much. But the $26 I did pay at the time was no more than a bottle of diet pills that would not have worked. I love this diet. It works for me every time because I follow all the rules. I use it as a jump start to any new weight loss venture or as a change of pace in the middle to prevent plateaus. Weight loss is a long hard process and seeing the numbers on the scale change is a big motivator. I always lose about 8 lbs the first 11 days; enough to make me want to kick it into high gear at the gym and avoid poor food choice. I'm 40 lbs lighter but what works for one person may not work well for another.

I did the 11 day diet twice 3 years ago. I lost 4.5 kg the first time (then 1/2 kg crept back on) then a month later I did it again and lost 4.5kg (and 1/2 kg crept back on)

I lost total of 8 kg that has stayed off for nearly 3 years. I quit smoking this year and have put on 4 kg so about to do it again. It is a healthy diet and realtively easy although gets tedious toward the end. Basically it just cancels out carbs but for 11 days with no carbs and fantastic results I am happy to do it for the third time.
 
I do not understand why everyone is always trying to find some type of magical cure to weight loss. There is no pill, special plan, drink mix, or powder you can sprinkle on everything that is going to work and just cause you to start shedding off excessive pounds in a matter of days, sorry to disappoint everyone but those are the fact. The only way anyone is going to drop excessive weight in a quick time frame is liposuction or a tummy tuck. If you do manage to drop 10 to 20 pounds every week to two weeks than one you are losing weight in an unhealthy manner and two good luck keeping it off. Weight managment is a lifestyle change NOT something you do long enough to lose the excessive weight.


The best way to lose weight is simple, eat healthy which simply means do not overeat (eat until you are no longer hungry NOT until you are stuffed and needing to unbutton your pants lol), do not eat in the middle of the night before bed, do not eat excessive amounts of junk food, do not drink tons of soda and alcohol, and try your best to stay away from processed, packaged, and frozen meals combine that with exercise which simply means move around as much as possible, obviously most people do no have time to work out an hour or more everyday but you can exercise more in very simple ways such as take the stairs instead of the elevator, park in the back of the parkin lot instead of waiting and driving around ten minutes for one near the door, take your dog for a walk, if you have kids go play with them in the backyard or the park, if you live near a beach or lake swim for a while instead of just baking in the sun for hours, just simply move around more and anytime you can go for a walk or a jog, ride a bike, or go out dancing exercise doesnt have to consist of just boring squats, ab crunches, and lifting weights (all though you should try and do strength training when possible because the more muscle you build the more calories you will burn)


Also, to address the metabolism issue I hear about, a person isnt born with a good or bad metabolism! Your metabolism is simply the amount of energy your body burns to maintain itself, and pretty much every bodily function a person has uses your metabolism to do it. If you have a sedentary life style and a high body fat content you WILL have a slower metabolism because your body requires less energy to perform because your not doing much, if you are an active person with a lower amount of body fat and a higher amount of muscle your metabolism WILL be higher because your body is going to require more energy and muscle uses a lot of energy to maintain itself so your metabolism will increase. If you want to increase your metabolism, become more active! SIMPLE


Dieting and exercise are really not as difficult as everyone makes it out to be and you DO NOT need some kind of laid out plan to follow just simply make better choices and less excuses! I am not trying to sound mean but all the time you spent searching on the internet for a miracle diet or pill you could have spent taking a walk/jog/run or something besides sitting down searching for a miracle to your weight problem. The other issue I have with strict diets and exercise routines is you will more than likely fail because you are abruptly changing the way you eat, cutting out everything you love, and trying to follow some rigourous exercise routine (that is probably to much for your body to handle all at once any way) instead of just slowly cutting out junk foods, lessening your sodas, and making better choices to become active. Then once you slip up on your diet or workout routine you feel like crap about yourself and eat even more than you did before, right? You didnt gain and extra 20, 40, 100, 200 pounds overnight why would you EVER expect to lose them overnight?


My last issue is ordering prepackaged diet plans, one they are pre packaged so regardless of how healthy they are supposed to be they are going to be frozen processed meals that will always be higher in calories, fat, salt, etc than you preparing that SAME EXACT meal for yourself, also they are more epensive than you preparing your own meals!! So, people PLEASE quit trying to find a miracle cure to weight loss IT DOES NOT EXIST!! IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK YOU CANNOT SIMPLY ORDER A DIET PLAN AND NOT DO ANY EXERCISE AND EXPECT TO LOSE WEIGHT/KEEP WEIGHT OFF!!!!


Dropping excessive weight in short periods of time is UNHEALTHY it damages muscle tissue, dehydrates you, robs you of essential nutrients, causes excess skin and stretch marks (yes you get stretch marks from losing to much weight to quickly not just from gaining it), and causes you to essentially gain even more weight! You will get discouraged it didnt work, or you didnt lose as much as you promised to, or even that you cheated on the diet and wind up gaining all the weight back and sometimes even more. So, just simply make small changes over a period of time so that you are able to make a LIFESTYLE CHANGE instead of trying out crazy diets a few weeks at a time and never getting anywhere!


Sorry you had to read a novel, but I just feel this is all important information and that people realize weight managment is a lifestyle not crazy dieting plans. So please just start with baby steps and keep improving with every victory you make and it will all happen much easier and faster than you think rather than wasting years trying to find a miracle cure that doesnt exist! My last thought to leave you with (which I think i mentioned earlier) YOU DID NOT GAIN ALL YOUR EXTRA WEIGHT IN A MATTER OF DAYS OR WEEKS YOU WILL NOT LOSE IT IN A MATTER OF DAYS OR WEEKS EITHER!!!!!!
