11 day diet does it work

Yeah. I lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks, I was worried. I wasn't eating because I was sick. After I felt better, I gained back 6 of the 20 I lost within 2 days. And I'm a veg*n.

The other week I lost 5 lbs in a day. I was going for a colonoscopy. I gained it back the next day.

I have never heard of this diet. And if people say it worked for them, then more power to them. I'm just of the mindset that my body will find its own weight in its own time. I just change my lifestyle and remain healthy. My body is pretty smart. :)

I think that everybody's body is different and nobody knows their own body better than themselves. This diet might not be for everyone. My neighbor did try it and couldn't follow it. It's strict, but you do not go hungry at all. That's what I liked about it. No set portions. You set when you are full. Like all diets, it's up to the user.

does anyone consider they could be losing water and muscle? if i lost 9lbs in 11 days i would kinda worried about it. guess thats just me.

I personally don't think I lost any water and muscle because I have maintained my weight. I ran, and still do, 3 times a week. Granted I was slowly increasing my speed from 12 minute miles down to 8 minute miles - the pace I was at when I was doing my mini triathlons.

I also see from your signature you buy into "the secret" as a tool for weightloss...so...yeah, whatever.

Dena, why all the hate? I have worked very, very, very hard to lose all my weight. I didn't just try dieting, I EXERCISE too - and trust me, with two little ones, it's hard to find the time, but I made the time. I've passed up bagels and cake and lunches out at work and still do because it's a lifestyle change for me. I work hard to maintain my weight loss, as I'm sure most of us on this board do.

Hey you can believe whatever gets your goat, no skin off my nose. But when it comes to dieting, ive seen a lot of very strange beliefs. I tried a lot of weird diets. and though the quick fast ones do work, you usually gain it back because it was water weight, or you lost muscle, or finally you binge because you deprived yourself so hard out.

Want to do the 11 day diet with me?

My boyfriend and i started this diet together yesterday, He is also training me to run which has proven itself to be veeery difficult but im trying. I would love it if anyone has some stories to share about the diet. I have read all the others in this blog and i am excited. I'd be willing to share my diet plan for anyone who wants to start along with me. It would be nice to have a buddy to blog with about this event. I havent quite figured out this site but i started a new thread called Fat Loss for Idiots- 11 day diet. Come and join me! we can blog about it there. I'm on my fruit day and it sucks a little but the rest of the days look very managable.

Magic diet....well, magic is illusion. It's pretty simple to understand the results at short or long time.

The first enemy of the control weight is the impatience, and somehow...the person want to get "fit", like a "wink of an eye" or "snap of fingers". This not reasonable...but this is the way of the almost person begin.

doesnt work

there is no magic system
you have to cut down on the fat foods you eat, work out, and stay focused
that is basically it.
depending on how serious you are, the amount of time it takes to lose weight changes
if you are serious, and want to lsoe weight, search for the weight loss plan that suits you, and stick with it
good luck

My boyfriend and i both lost exactly 5.4lbs on our 1st cycle but im sure we overdid the nuts. Its funny because our menu' were the same but our work out routine is way different. His much more intense than mine. We are happy with our results and will change up the menu to hopefully get some decent results again. I love this diet i feel great on it. I wish i could get my parents into it.

It's very difficult to lose more than 2lbs of fat weight in a week... anything in excess of 2lbs weight loss a week is either muscle tissue or water (and nothing to be happy with!).

I have a lot of experience helping people lose weight and I can say with confidence that if your weight loss is greater than 2lbs per week you're destined to regain it and more.

My take on the 9lbs 11 days diet

Hi everyone,

Here's my take on the 11 days diet.

I'm sure most of us who had done our research on weight loss will know the following:

  • Metabolism determines how much weight we lose
  • Cutting back on food intake slows down metabolism
  • Certain food uses more calories to digest
It is counter intuitive to eat more to lose weight, I know. But it does work. Your metabolism goes up when your body does work, Exercise as we know is one way to make the body work. Now consider this, your body is actually more hardworking than your 7-11. It is working round the clock doing 'work' like breathing, pumping blood with your heart, making your hair and nails grow etc.

Back to the diet plan, I know that there will always be a million and one ways to lose weight if you were to go D-I-Y. You do the research, plan the meals, plan the exercises you do. While that is all well and good, we do have to realize that not everyone has the luxury of time, or want to spend that effort to do that.

For people in this category, this would be the perfect solution. Select foods you like, *click* and the menu is planned for 11 days.

I'm currently on this diet and it has worked wonders for me. Not exactly 9lbs every 11 days but close enough and steady progress. Will be glad to offer any assistance if you can post your queries here.

Cheers

It Works!

But, I paid only 39.00 for it. I promise you. It works....where nothing else for me has. I weighed 136 when I started and afte 11 days....didn't lose 11 lbs, but did lose 7. And going from 136 to 129.....I'm ecstatic. It has also worked for my niece, sister and friend. It's easy to do. The only problem my friend and I have with it is the prepartion of foods. We're both flight attendants and packing enough food for a 3 day trip makes it a little harder for us....however, on the days when I'm home...it's a piece of cake...(or a piece of fruit). What I like about this diet as opposed to other low carb diets is that they insist on lots of fruits. Most low carb diets severely limit fruits if allowed to eat them at all. Please give it a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I have seen claims that there is a diet that helps to lose weight in a dramatic style. Does it work and if so how so. Seems like magic to me. Kinda skeptacle. It sais you can do this diet for 11 days, and you will lose 9 lbs, and after the 11 days you take three days off eat regular food again and then you can repeat it if you need to lose more. Even up to 100 lbs. Wow doesnt that seem like it is magic. Has anyone heard of such a thing and is it safe. Has anyone had good results with it what if anything are the pitfalls of this system, other than spending your money on their diet and maybe it not work? I am all ears.

Stop looking for that magic quick weight loss plan. It doesn't exist. All you see on the internet is scam.

Yes It Works

I understand that lifestyle change is important and we all need to get healthier in our food and portion choices. But when you find yourself overweight and frustrated with all the diet choices and ways to slim down, it is important that you do something that actually works for you, personally. No matter how great something is, if you cannot stick to it, of what worth is it to you?

I gained around 40 pounds over two years, and finally I was discovered to have hypothyroidism. While I was ecstatic to find the cause, get medications that got my thyroid under control, and no longer pack on the pounds, I was still faced with the tedious task of finding some way to lose the excess.

I have a problem sticking to a plan that is not spelled out for me. I came across the 11 day diet (actually my boyfriend did) and it sounded like something that I could do. Since I was able to choose the foods I wanted from a list they prepared, that worked for me! And the fact that you get to generate the diet online and print it out so meals are planned out for you, it took all the brain work and frustration out of dieting.

I just finished my first 11 days yesterday and I lost a total of 8 pounds. I think that is pretty amazing. I was very disciplined, and stuck to the diet exactly, except for 4 glasses of wine over the 11 days. As a matter of fact, I only had 1/2 to 3/4 of a glass and topped it off with a little bit of diet 7up to make a cooler, and make my drink go farther. That was my little treat every other couple of days or so, while on the diet. Other than that, I stuck to it religiously. I made my food appetizing so it would not be blah, but I stuck within the realm of what was allowed.

I feel great about the weight loss and very hopeful for the next sets of 11 days. While I am on my 3 day break, I am still sticking to smaller portions where I am satisfied but not full, and eating 4+ meals. I am going to eat things I have missed while on the diet, but I am not going to go crazy and ruin what I have done these past 11 days. I am going to eat different foods, though, so I do not get stuck on the same foods from the diet.

I don't think you can say that is a bad thing. I have hope now and I am inspired to lose more. Seeing this type of result encourages me to keep going. Even if I only lose half as much next 11 days, that is still better than gaining weight or staying the same. And the time period in which it is lost is not long, so you don't feel like it is going to be forever until you feel a change. Those are the things that discourage people and why diets often fail.
The other thing I wanted to point out is that I did this with no exercise at all, due to a knee injury. I can only imagine how much better this would be with exercise.

Also the other thing I want to point out is it is important to drink the recommended minimum of 6 glasses of water, and preferably 8-10 glasses. If you sip them throughout the day, it helps you feel full, and you don't eat as much at the meal times.

I don't think you need to pay anything for that plan. Just do it and see what happens. It will take a strong will so if your someone who gives in easily to temptation and binges, you will fail.

I'm not going to sit here and talk to you like your a moron and tell you "rapid weight loss diets don't work". I will say be prepared to suffer.

I personally went from 143lbs to 125lbs in 2mths and it was mainly musle, which is really hard for a black women with hips and butt. It was the best weight loss plan I ever did, but I doubt many people would want to try it. What I did was join the Army, not even kidding.....I gained weight when I got out but since I plan on joining again its cool, my advice is exercise.

There is no magic, really. No such diet that would melt your fat away overnight... sadly.

I only started to lose weight when I found out that metabolism is responsible for all overweight worries. Improve your metabolism and you will lose weight an keep it off forever! Losing weight is not difficult (am I saying this?? ... I was struggling for years! :willy_nilly:) - you just need the right path!

Drink more water, eat regularly, eat breakfast, eat small portions and more often - these are for the right start ;) No exercise necessary!

I use nutritional cleansing and it works wonders. All natural, tasty, full of vitamins and minerals, whey protein, healthy chocolate. I have lost my years of excess body fat and never feel deprived. Sometimes we want to overlook 'programs' or revolutionary ways of looking at food because they seem too good to be true. One has to use their best judgment to decide if something is right for them. Anything listing 'artificial' is definitely not worth ingesting. There are quick solutions out there, you just have to be cautious to find out what is natural and efficacious and what is taking your body for a ride. 11-days is not unheard of to lose 7-10 lbs - I did it and it was using superfoods which are being recommended all the time now to improve health all around. Yeehaw!
