Hi everyone! I started with 1000cal diet and managed to lose 7 pounds in 3 weeks and I am still losing but I'm gonna have to change the diet
What do you suggest? I was thinking south beach diet?

We need to know more about you before we can give any advice...we need to know your age, weight, gender, height, exercise level, etc.

Don't bother with the South Beach Diet, if you lose any weight at all you're going to end up gaining it back double when it's over. You don't need a gimic and there's no quick fix if you want to lose it and keep it off. Not trying to be harsh but that's the reality no matter what the fancy ads try to make you believe!
 
Hungry?

No, I didn't feel hungry. Now I eat a little more.

I'm a woman, 29 y.o.,height 5.3, Now 142 pounds. Started with 150. Not very active.

I now I cannot stay on 1000 calories for any longer, so what do you suggest. And yes I want to lose it and keep it that way.

Michelle is absolutely right, Marggie, you're going to have to introduce more exercise into your day. Unless you're significantly overweight (which you are not), it takes more than just diet to lose weight. I would suggest you work on increasing your metabolism with your eating habits and start doing some cardio. That, or you could try some classes to sculpt your body. 142lbs isn't too bad and if you work on toning up, you might find that you're not as concerned with losing weight as a number. Instead you'll lose inches and your body will become leaner and more toned. Just my thoughts, let us know how you're doing.
