R.N im going to have to kick your bum, and yours as well grandiose, only having one meal for the day is not good.

Ok girls you need to kick my butt as well I just can’t seem to get into the exercise mode no matter how guilty I feel.
 
Survived one day without any type of bread...given I only ever eat grain or pita bread in the week days but it is still bread...so check one day off....

My major problem is the weekends when we tend to have sandwiches, but I'll try for a free week and then maybe try for a bread free weekend...

Got in 30 minutes on my stepper this morning and used weights for about 5 minutes while on the stepper.

Did 30 minutes hard workout on exercycle tonight and then 60 crunches.

Total burned - 560calories
Total eaten - 1143 calories

Have managed to get my 2 daily sessions in for Monday and Tuesday and worked out both days in the weekend so that is a great start so far!

Really focussing on cardio this week and less on strength and weights.
 
I've never really thought too much about getting rid of bread from my diet but then I don't eat too much of it anyway and have switched to wholemeal varieties.

I had a weigh in a day early and have lost 1lb. However I made arrangements to have friends over on Saturday and I'm meant to be cooking! Will make healthy stuff but we won't be eating til about 7pm so that's not so good. Any tips on ensuring my weight doesn't suffer too much due to the late meal anyone?
 
Woo hoo congrats on the first day of no bread, excellent work on the exercise.

Congrats on the lost pound crunchie, that a good start. I eat at any time day or night I don’t worry about the time I do keep to my points though. Sounds like a good weekend coming up.
 
Well done Crunchie you are doing great and well done to mumtotwo for a bread free day. I am trying to give up bread too and today was my first bread free day. Good luck to everyone for the rest of the week!!
 
Well I just got the shock of my life, jumped on the scales this morning and drum roll please
101.4 = 223.5 :eek: :eek: :eek:
That’s a loss of 4.4 pounds this week.:D :D :D
I would have to say that im pretty happy with that.

Well, I had my 1st weigh-in today, and have lost 5 pounds! I know now it'll probably be slower, but it's a start, right? :) I've managed to actually work out on the treadmill Mon thru Fri this week for 35/40 min each day (works out better if I get up and walk before the kids get up)and have kept my calories between 1200 and 1300 a day by keeping a food journal. I feel so good for keeping on track - now can I make it through the weekend?? :(

Rosered it must be the week for that kind of loss...I am so happy, after no loss for a week I managed to lose 4.4lbs this week that is huge for me because it is the most I have lost in a week since I started...usually I lose about 1lb.

I don't know the real reason, cutting the bread may have helped, but on the other hand I don't really eat a huge amount in the week, and did have that big weekend of white bread...??? I do know my carbs have been lower and my protein higher....and I have worked my butt off with 4 and a half hours of exercise this week really focussing in on cardio, so I think it is a combination of things.

Whatever it is I have met my mini goal of 72kg WOOOHOOOOOOOOO for the first time in 4 years I am counted as having a healthy BMI, I am so so so so so happy!!!

Another 4lbs to go and will reach my big goal, and then will work on another couple to meet that 10lbs.....

Weekends are hard, will have to have bread today as I go to my grandmothers with the kids this morning and she gives me 2 slices of toast with tomato (I never have toast for breakfast but on saturdays I do) I can't tell her no as she is 95 and it would hurt her feelings......oh well it hasn't done any harm this far!

Well I've lost another 1/2 lb but am unsure whether it'll stay off seeing as how I have my get together with friends tonight. I'm making a huge bowl of fruit salad instead of the usual chocolates but there'll still be some nuts and crisps out there and people want take away pizza for their main meal. Handy that as I don't care for pizza much so I'm unlikely to eat much of it. It's that big bowl of my favourite crisps that's going to do me in I think. Will be drinking loads of water and having a bowl of soup or something before they come so I'm not tempted to snack all night.:eek:
 
Hi Everyone,
I got back from camping and I can't begin to say how much I snacked, and um, had to drink ;)

I really thought I would gain or the stay the same, so I'm not all that disappointed with a one pound loss - but that's all I have been losing a week since January. This is SUCH a slow process!

So for the challenge, I'm down 2, I don't think I'm going to hit the 10 pound mark come June 30th!

I'll keep plugging away!

Hey everyone. Have finally got the weight loss started again and have lost .6lb which i have stuck on bringing me now to 150lbs. I hope everyone is having a great day!!

Well girls ive had a sneak peek at the scale and its not looking good, I will have to get my butt moving if im ever going to break the 100s.
 
Hey everyone i have now lost a total of 2lbs. I'm back on track and the results are beginning to show. I hope everyone is having a good day!
 
I'm really struggling right now. I started out really good eating well exercising but I wasn't I seeing a change on the scale so then I started slipping. I've lost one lb but when I ususally get into weight loss mode I see at least a 2lb loss each week. This is if I am being a good girl.

I want to lose the weight but I just keep falling out of the motivational mind sent.

Anyway my current weight loss is 1 sad little pound. The pound is sad because he got lost. He he he he.
 
I got stuck last week a bit but the pounds are falling off this week. For the challenge so far I've lost 4.5lb so well on schedule to loose the 10 before the 1st July. I'm only 3lb away from loosing a stone and reaching my halfway point.:)
