Starting Fresh: My Weight Loss Journey (with a little extra help)

Hi everyone,

I thought I’d start a diary here to keep myself on track and share my ups and downs along the way. I’ve been wanting to make a real change and stick with it this time, so I figured writing it out might keep me accountable (and maybe even help someone else too).

Right now I’m focusing on eating better, moving more, and trying to build habits that actually last. I’ve also started using a supplement called Sleeplean to see if it gives me a little boost while I work on my goals. Nothing magic, just curious if it helps alongside diet and workouts.

I’ll update this thread as I go — sharing meals, workouts, and honest thoughts. Some days will be good, some probably not so much, but that’s part of the process.

Day 1: Feeling motivated and ready to give this a proper go. Today I kept things simple and light workout, decent meals, and I’m ending the day without feeling too restricted. Hoping I can keep this up and slowly see progress.

If anyone else is on a similar journey, I’d love to hear how you stay consistent. Let’s do this

Best of luck with your journey. Writing down and sharing your goals is a great step toward staying motivated and accountable. Do share your experience, as it may be helpful for others too. Consistency is always the key, and even small habits can make a big difference over time. Looking forward to following your updates and progress. Keep going strong.

Day 2 Update:
Today went smoother than I thought. Meals were on track and I managed to get a workout in, even though I wasn’t 100% motivated at first. Still learning to balance portions, but I’m already feeling more in control compared to before. No huge changes yet, but I know this is a long game also just glad I showed up for myself today. One step at a time...Further I will Update Soon

Day 3 & Day 4 Update:
I didn’t get a chance to check in yesterday, so I’m combining the last two days.

Day 3: Meals went pretty smoothly and I felt like I was finally getting into a rhythm with portions. No major cravings, and my energy stayed steady most of the day. I stuck with my plan, which felt like a win.

Day 4: Weighed in this morning at 164.5 lbs, which is about half a pound down since I started. It’s a small drop, but seeing the scale move in the right direction definitely gave me a boost. Meals were mostly on track, though I did grab a late-night snack. Still happy I didn’t let it spiral. Got some light movement in, nothing big but better than nothing.

Overall, I’m encouraged. Progress is slow but steady, and I can already see little shifts in my habits. That feels like a real win.
