Don't try this at home

According to Einstein's theory of general relativity we are all travelling through space time anyway. I suppose weighting yourself down could potentially slow your passage thus making your transit through time slower and keeping you younger.
How's that for total abuse of the basic principals of physics?

I did watch a physics video a while ago which talked about the latest world record for the 100m sprint, and they were talking about how technically, from the sprinter's perspective, the duration of his run was slightly different to our perspective. Technically, whenever we move we perform time travel.

Deadlift circuit, huh? I'll be honest: I don't envy you one bit right now.

Something I had forgotten after years away from strength circuits. They are rather hard work for this old chap.
Endurance circuits are easier, but this is killing me. Will be made worse as I plan to catch up fully by doing a squat circuit this afternoon.

GPS is a classic case of showing how travelling through time only requires going higher.
The American govt didn't trust this at first and thought the physics experts could be wrong so had a system ready to switch to standard time instead of orbital.
So your GPS device works because the satellites use a different clock. If it didn't we'd be lost. I love stuff like that, sad I know.

That's a rough circuit, bud. My tri's would be on fire. I'm looking to make some serious gains in my tri's with my new dip routine, so that'll be fun.

Glad you are finally back at it, Tony. Must have been a nasty set of bugs.

Traverse gently through the space/time continuum, gentlemen!

Got in all 3 circuits done. My body will remind me what I have done tomorrow.
And I want to seriously improve my performance this is just week 1 so 7 to go.

I must say, doing circuits devoted to a single main lift puts you a step ahead of me in terms of insanity.

...I may or may not have done this to others in my time, though. Just because I have some remnants of sanity, doesn't mean I'm not evil.

That would be the difference between sadist and masochist.

Things that have been difficult so far today, getting out of bed, walking up and down stairs, virtually any movements weight resting on my back when sitting. Yes I'm happily aching. It likely doesn't reflect well on me that my response to no longer feeling horrible through illness I make myself barely mobile through training.

Spot on. Though you may regret your children not learning to iron your clothes in later years.
When I read your statement that the bench circuit would kill the tris I thought you were over stating it. I was wrong they have been killing me.
Squat circuit tonight and run at lunch time. Back to abnormality.

Being totally useless at monitoring aesthetic gains/losses and being ill means this is the first of these for too long, based on weigh in yesterday morning.
Weight 13 stone 10.8, only just over 3 pounds from target weight, which should be good news, except that I wasn't training for over 2 weeks in recent time so this wasn't going to be muscle.
18.4% body fat is very high for me and shows I have been bulking in the 90% blubber form. Not good but predictable.

Sounds like how I've historically bulked. Still paying my dues for that.

Worst run in a number of years. I think I should have been able to hop faster than that.
There will be an additional run in each week now, accompanied by the dog, and I am going to need it.

I am aiming to do more so my circuits all take 20 minutes or more but at the moment I got to 12 minutes and felt ready to die on squats.
If you give it a go you may well improve on it.

I do find it strange to start on 100kg squats comfortably then keep going to the point where I am gasping for air ready to do a set. It was the kettlebell that finished me off though. Feeling like you are ready to collapse should signal time to stop. For me it was put down the kettle and finish that circuit. Not always as smart as I should be.
You are just starting back so need to keep to yours for a few months anyway. Be a fun one to try if you want next. Really is a great sanity test.
