Hello everyone!
So as you probably assumed, I'm Sam. I'm new to this website so I just wanted to say hi.
My reason for joining this website is to learn from people and to hopefully help teach people what I know or have learnt throughout my journey.
Ever since I was a teenager I've been struggling with my weight but more specifically my body image of myself so I've decided to finally take a stand and make myself who I want myself to be. I'm currently 5'8-5'9 and weigh about 155-160lbs (depending on the scale). My real goal isn't to necessarily meet any specific weight, but instead to finally reach a body image that I feel comfortable with. I want to blast the fat and be lean and healthy.
Some activities that I've been doing to help myself are;
- an hour of treadmill almost every night (using the lolo treadmill app and burning usually 570-600 calories)
- a 60 minute long kickbox bootcamp class (it's weekly and my first class was last week)
- a 60 minute metabolic training class (same as about, first class was on Saturday)
- tomorrow my friend and I are going to be doing a Spin class together
- I walk as often as possible and luckily everything is close enough for me to walk to where I live
- My fiancee and I are trying to make swimming a regular activity for us to do together, same with walking.
- A variety of lolo app workouts, specifically bootcamp
I think that's everything that I do. I'm trying to burn fat and make myself leaner. Can't wait to get more results! (I've been working hard since I finished school this semester and I'm slowly noticing results). Luckily NAIT has a pool so I can continue to swim once I return to school.
One last thing, since my fiancee and I aren't getting married for another 3 years (I have to finish school first) I'm really looking forward to feeling comfortable with my body and finding a dress that I fall in love with
