Brand new! Hi!

Hi all! I'm brand new to the forum (and sadly, exercise in general) so I thought I'd pop in and say hello!

I'm 23, 5'2", 105 pounds, fairly out of shape (okay, morbidly out of shape) but lucky enough to have a fast metabolism where I can do nothing and maintain my 30.5/25.5/35.5 figure (not ideal, but I'll take what I can get!)... I'm decently healthy; I prefer home-cooked meals over processed foods but I don't take in enough fruits. :/

Thought I'd try this whole 'exercising' thing out. :) I want to up my endurance and general fitness without losing much fat, preferably so when I'm jogging I don't get winded in the first 30 seconds (true story) so any advice anyone has is great! I'm going to start (tomorrow?) by walking/light jogging a couple of minutes (that's probably the most I can mange) and finish off with P90x's Ab Ripper X every couple of days.

...Am I supposed to post a picture? :p Forums are a strange world to me.

Thanks for reading. :)

The secret to improving your fitness is, as basic as it sounds, simply a case of progressively increasing the workload/intensity of your workouts. So turn your 'couple of minutes' into a few minutes and so on...

Can you be more specific about general fitness?

By general fitness, I mean increasing endurance, muscle tone, overall strength. I'm a pretty sad little weakling, and it would be nice if I didn't get so tired/get muscle soreness from walking up five flights of stairs. :) Does that clarify a bit?
