Hello from Cold Toronto

Hi everyone,

I am excited to be joining your forum, I checked out other fitness forums and this one seems to be liveliest.

A little about myself: I am 24, female, started training 4 years ago and I am still learning the ropes because most my female friends want to loose weight through cardio and slimming diets whilst I want to tone with weights and I am concerned with nutrition sole. I am on this forum because need some support which I can't find in my vicinity. :( I had being doing cardio up to 8 months ago when I realized I was getting nowhere other than building stamina so after reading the body scultping bible, I realized its weight training that I gotta do.

Things I'd love to learn about in this forum:
- How to lift weights properly
- Which weights to use for what.
- The best foods to eat.
- When to consume different foods

Well thats basically me,
Hope to get to know you guys and girls (please let there be some who weight train) better

Yes we have ladies that weight train here. Adding weights will let you leave your friends behind once you get rocking.

Sliming diets only work for so long. Eatting healthy and enough to power your workouts is what you need! You can blast fat off you with weights but you need to eat to fire yourself up for the workout.

I would recommend using a certified personal trainer to learn the correct way to lift weights. That's their job. :)
