How bad is it to stop for 1-2 months ??

I knew this was going to happen, but I still started to workout at the end of May. So now I'll have to do a break during July and probably August because I'll be working and won't have any spare time.
What I wanted to know are, basically, the consequences for my body, muscles, weight? (considering that I'm such a newbie as well).

oh, btw I'm really enjoying going to the gym :) I go there 5 days a week, start with 10 min bike, then 10 min treadmill, 10 min ellyptical... then I go to the weight lifting machines that I really don't know the names and I end up with ab exercises and do 10 more min of treadmil to recover.

Thanks

ps- sorry if this is in the wrong section

can't you at least maintain? walk or something?

no gym? walk/jog outside, pushups, crunches, pullups for maintenence. Plenty of things you can use at home for "weights" along with body weight exercises.

anything will be better than nothing even if you only make it to the gym a couple times a week and if you cant do that do something pushups in and crunches in the morning if you have to, but something is always better than nothing

yeah, I'll always try to do something .. I'll change city ( and that's the biggest problem, because it's 200 km away) but I'll try to rent a bike or something and ride on it at least 15 min a day.. I might as well do some sit-ups, leg raises and push-ups..

thanks for your replies !

Maf (everyone), check out the new article I just posted in the articles section. I think this will really help!
