A lil help please :)

You've been eating like a beast, but it also doesn't sound like you take a day off. The body needs rest. If your goal is to put on solid muscle mass, I would take AT LEAST 1 - 2 days off from lifting AND running.

Also, if you're concerned about muscle, I would sub running for either light jogging, (speed) walking or biking. It's less catabolic and less taxing on the muscles.

If you're still at 11 stone then you aren't eating like a beast. Post your diet in more detail for us to take a look at

Your weight training schedule could also do with being more structured, that way you can track progress easier and ensure you don’t start to develop imbalances by unintentionally training one area a lot more than another

I mean look at some of the photos on here of guys "bulking." I know its popular and to each their own to some extent, but do you really
want to add so much fat to your body?

I think you need to post some pictures of your own if you're going to making statements like that

Bulk like a f**ker, no other way for it.

Let Typhon be your inspiration, he eats an elephant a day! Not to mention 2 tonne's of nuts. ;)

LMAO, I'm not actually disagreeing with the bulk of his post, I also agree that cardio could and should be built into any solid training schedule without sacrificing muscle gain and that you can bulk without gaining lots of fat, it's just that insulting the people who have posted their pictures on this site it's right, if anything it'll lead to fewer people posting them in fear of being belittled like this

Ok i can now describe my diet in more detail, as i am in not needed urgently like last time ^^

Everyday is basically the same except for minor changes here and there depending whats in the fridge and/or cabnet.

Breakfast: Porrige with cinnomen *heard it reduces blood pressure :p*
OR 3 egg omlette
OR 5 kiwi + 1 banana + whey protein powder *measuring in 30-35g of protein*

Mid morning snack: 3 pieces of fruit for 2 euro at the shop beside my college/work :p so it varies.

Lunch: 2 brown bread sandwichs containing 6 slices of turkey and 2 yellow peppers and 1 sliced tomato 8they are BIG sandwichs :p
OR pasta with chicken and basil sauce *when i feel like cooking beforehand which is like maybe once every week haha :p so rarely*
OR 6 del monte fruit cups. Del monte is the king of fruit!

Mid afternoon snack: I normally am too full to eat

Dinner: Very random it can basically be anything but it is ALWAYS low in fat and healthy. Never eat food like take away or fast food unless its a special occasion.

I drink around 3 litres of water a day and i only drink coke at the cinema. For some reason cinema coke tastes so much better than any other type of coke.

That is basically my diet and i stick to it within reason. As that nutrition guide said its something like 90% is the same as 100% with a diet when sticking to it strickly.

As for my workout i noticed i havnt seen any development on my back really. But.....

now lets see if i can talk the talk :p

My delts *shoulders?* are looking more pronounced and i can see the oval outline of my 6 pack and the pack lines themselfs starting to come to the surface.

So id say im working out most of my upper and lower body with my random workout except for my back i guess. More work on the back!

Thanks for all the advice and help guys :) I know ill have this all locked down in 6 months if i keep at it!

Call that belittling? I didn't name anyone. What I am beggining to realize is that a wealth of information, attitudes, methods, training and interpretation leave many people overwhelmed... and me as well. I can't keep giving simple tidbits of advice only to be met by an uproar by the guys who don't agree.

What is obvious and true despite if you "agree" or not is that most people add more fat then necessary when "bulking" due to poor interpretation.

Most people 80%+ overtrain due to poor interpretation of how the body works

A little cardio is good for you no matter what stage you are in.

Yeah and I cannot post pics for several reasons that relate to my carreer and identification.

sorry, no one ever really overtrains. I've never seen it...only in athletes. many times simple plateaus and "not going anywhere" just mean you're doing something wrong and must tweak your program. I think it's too hard for a recreational exerciser to overtrain.

Sorry, yes they do. A lot of people in the gym work the same muscle groups too soon and don't give time for rebuilding. This happens as a result of being really excited about a goal and the misconception that the body can be sculpted purely on "effort over time." Should focus on getting in there, working hard in an appropriate amount of time then going home to fuel.
