Cheat meals suck!

I just ate a bunch of mixed nuts without even thinking about it. Suckers have like 200 calories and 18 grams of fat per tablespoon!!! :(
I have a party coming up this weekend, so that was going to be my one cheat meal for the week, but it seems as though I screwed myself.
How do you guys cope with foodstuff you really love and just should not be having in excess?

nuts aren't bad, they are actually a good snack (of course, if you take them in addition to how many cals you want per day you would go over) and fat isn't bad for you. Your body needs fat, specially the good ones! Just stay away from trans fat, don't get too much satures, but you do need some of them.

I hear ya... but it definitely put me like 500 cal over my intake. :( I suppose I'll be running extra hard tomorrow. :)

If I have a taste for sweet with a nutritional punch of fiber and carbs, I opt for my special blend of my homemade Cocoa-Oatmeal bars.

No cheat.

This is neat.

;)

Best blast of carbs on earth!

It's only 500kcals, forget about it, that's about 0.1lbs you might have put on, it's not worth even thinking about in the grand scheme of things.

Funny you should say that, I have 200g of Almonds on my desk that I'm about to eat after my post training pasta meal

I think calorie obssesion is harmful, I cut calories recently and it was a big mistake. If I ever want to lose fat again I'm just going to increase expenditure, not intake.
Food is good, calorie cutting just encourages people to look at food in a negative way IMO

I totally agree. I think at this moment, however, I'm pushing my body as hard as possible, and trying to increase expenditure will just end in injury...

Putting it that way, I guess it's not a whole lot to worry about. Just disheartening. Keep on keepin' on, I s'pose. ;)
