Water weight???

They mean there is much Beauty in Sky-angel. :)

Sky what is you diet like? Do you take in a lot of salt?

How many carbs per day do you eat?

My wife tells me, that woman can gain water weight due to fluctuating H-o-r-m-o-n-e (had to spell it like that or it gets blocked out) levels and from premenstrual swelling and menopausal edema.

Do you have specific places on the body that water tends to hold? Like the thighs, hips, abdomen, and back of the upper arm, etc?

On women, it can sometimes be a tricky situation to figure out. It could be just your diet. It could be your fluctuation in H-o-r-m-o-n-es (like during PMS), or it could be a sign of something more serious (I doubt it, but I felt the need to say that--I am NOT trying to scare you or anything--there is much I dont know about you).

Do you take a multivitamin? The doctor has my wife taking B-6 and has recently told her to increase the fiber in her diet to assist with her water retention (but her situation is much different than yours: She has Lupus).

Be more specific about your water retention problem so we can help you, and answer my questions.

ROCK ON!

Flat ROCK IT!

Well Chillen,
Not so different...I too have Lupus. :) Not on Predisone

I try to eat a carb and protein every meal. And I try to eat healthy. Like today, I had 1/2 banana with natural PB pre w/o and then a protein shake w/added powder fiber, post w/o and then string cheese for snack and for lunch small chicken breast and a slice of whole grain wheat bread. I have cut back on my salt lately.

Most of my water weight is in my ab area. And sometimes in my thighs.

Yes, I take Women's Fitness Pak by Univeral Nutrition. Last week is when I felt the most bloated, and I kept forgetting to take my vitamins. But that shouldn't be related, right?

Bloated? Like gas is about to explode? Do you burp a lot? Does it occur right about the same time everyday?

If so, it could be a diet problem. I've found my problems had two things: this multivitamins (it was called Nature or something) and my cereal. Basically, I stopped with the multi and felt a whole lot better. Then it reappeared and found that I've been eating nearly 21g of fiber every morning. Once I stopped with the cereal, the problem went away.

I'm female...things like what you speak of don't happen to me???:eek2:

It's quite alright for gals to burp and such. As a matter of fact, the best burpers are gals.

Anyway, if you feeling that gas feeling, check out your diet. Make sure you're not going overboard with fiber and be sure to read the fine prints of that multi pack as it might say not to take it if you experience bloated feelings.

21g of fiber!!!!

were you able to leave the bathroom?:D

The 21 g isn't all. I estimate that on those days, I consume roughly 30~35g of fiber. I can assure you that it was painful to run. First 10 minutes, I'm like okay, this is cool. Then 15 minutes, boom. Only other condition I've been in worst was when I wore a really small helmet with the left jaw piece larger then the right. So basically I was outside running in 100 degrees weather with a small helmet and my jaws shifted to the right. So imagine that, but instead in the guts.
