Hello There

Hey. I am Brandon. I'm sixteen, 5' 7", and weight 136 lbs. I'm a dancer and dance at least 12 hours a week. My main goal is go lower my body fat and replace it with muscle. I'm not here to look ripped or get bulky. I want lean dancer muscles and a body I can feel better about. I feel like I am almost there and now it's the workout I need to work on, as well as the eating plan to accompany it.

No kidding...that's pretty impressive.

With all that..... I'd think you should be pretty fit just doing all that alone:)

I heard ballet is very demanding physically - how does ballet stack up to other forms of dancing in terms of cardio and or strength in your view ?

Actually, I had a secretary once who was a competitive ballroom dancer ( these ballroom dancer are " obsessed " and all business !! ) - and she was one of the most " fit " people ( cardio wise ) I ever knew - I think most people underestimate how demanding dance can really be.

Thanks for the welcomes!

Ballet is not a cardio work out, well not usually. We occasionally go insane at my studio. But ballet is very slow, and you're using the muscles of your core, your butt, and your legs.
