Lost and helpless

Alright here we go. I have just returned from a stint in teh middle east adn at that time I had some one fixing my meals for me. Guess that is one good thing about deploying huh. But now I am back home and it seems that I am adding back the fat I lost over there and I want to stop it from going to far. So here is my question....Where can I find and how hard is it to follow a well balanced food plan? I am in dire need of this info as I would like to start back ASAP so I can get in top physical shape.

I dont like to "DIET" I just need to find a healthy plan to help loss the weight.
Thank you all in advance

Well the first problem to solve is to forget about the weight. No matter how much you think otherwise, when you're thinking only on weight lost, every meal is going to be a "diet" plan. I'm pretty sure you're not obese. Honestly, I think you're fine. Probably in the middle east you were doing more exercise (walking, etc), and probably ate 3-4 meals a day. To find a clear meal plan, you can look around this forum. There are several good list of food to eat. Best thing to do is mix it up. Eat around 5 small meals a day, and keep it balanced, eat a variety of different food, and simply eat in moderation. You don't need worthless calories counting to maintain a healthy appearance. Simply eat a good amount of food, keep up the exercise, and you'll be fine.

Your Own Team of Trainers

I know how you feel, suddenly having no structure to your diet! I've been a member of Global-Fitness.com for about 2 months so far and find it really helps. Their meal plan is VERY customizable with simple rules: eat small, frequent meals that are balanced to keep your metabolism going and improve your health. Also as a member we have over 20 fitness experts ready to answer our questions within hours of submitting an email. They've already written pages upon pages of responses to my questions about exercise and nutrition, or what I'm doing wrong. I can also email them and 'vent' if I hit a plateau or feel discouraged. I would highly recommend you check out the site. It isn't a diet, which is nice, and you get lots of support and professional advice. I have one of their personal trainers check in with me every Monday morning to see how my previous week went, and if I needed to talk to her about anything.

You made the first step in getting rid of being lost, by joining the forum. DONT EVER think you cant be helped.

If you dont like to diet---->then think of it as a life style change because in order for you to lose good fat tissue weight, you are required to adjust the amount you eat and make changes. You have no choice. This is the plain truth.

It is about energy IN v energy OUT. It begins with what you consume and tweaking your fitness program to allow fat tissue loss.
