Progress pics

Damn, your abs do always show. I was just looking at the 205 vs. 175 pics. How tall of a guy are you?

5'9"... Not especially tall. What's funny is that I couldn't get life insurance at 205 because I was considered obese (score of 29-30 on BMI). Obviously I have some bodyfat on me, but I was hardly obese.

does life insurance go after BMI?

They use BMI as one of the things to judge the cost. When I was getting life insurance I was 300lbs. I have the same rate (price) as a person who has normal body weight because my blood work came back WAY ahead of the curve.

If I was 165lbs my rate would be crazy low. Of course I would also be weak and small and hate myself. :D

LOL, When I was 225 the life insurance rep that came looked at my license and said "are you SURE you're 225?" I said yes and he kept saying "are you sure?" and I said "oh yeah, I lost 15 lbs and he wrote that down

Lookin good, post some wheel pics up if you got 'em!

I will... Those shots were sort of spontaneous. I had my camera at work that day because I was taking after pics of a bunch of my clients. I will do some leg shots next week and post them up.

It's not a "posed" pic, but as you requested, DA WHEELS!

:)

As a side note, this exercise is KILLER!!! I put it up because someone wanted to see some leg pix, but the combination of bands and K-bells will absolutely kick your ass. Especially this particular exercise.

I don't go into ketosis if that's what you mean, but I absolutely do not eat any sugar, bread, potatoes, pasta, etc...

I eat a ton of veggies, meats, eggs, cheese, fats.

So obvisouly i guess your weight loss ambitions are purely cosmetic based. Because your bodyfat is perfectly healthy.

I dont know much about the TNT diet. I personally enjoy the mediterranean diet, currently the heart asscociation is further investigating its promising effects on heart disease and obesity. Veges, fruit, wholegrains, fish, little meat etc..much healthier then those extreme diets and it also works!

The TNT is pretty much a mediterranean diet with a nutrient timing factor added.

I do eat whole grains. They are not a staple though. I also get quite a bit of carbs through my veggies and occasional fruit.

Saturated fat has really gotten a bad rap. The newest research is showing that it is not the cause of obesity and related illnesses... It's the tons of corn-based products that we've been consuming for the last thirty years as we've watched America's midsection get wider and wider.

I highly recommend the book, Good Calories Bad Calories, but by Taubes.

TNT is not just a cosmetic diet... It's just plain and simply the way I eat. It's easy for me, not extreme. I don't have to count calories. I don't have to calculate my macros. The cosmetic side of it is a side effect. A good one I guess. I'm sure I'll level off pretty soon.
