Hi,
So I have about 7lbs left to lose.
I am eating 1200-1500kcal/day and according to My Fitness Pal my nutrients are pretty much spot on (except Iron which falls low).
I go for a 3k jog 3 out of 4 days, and do a 10 minute high intensity work out DVD most days.
I also do the odd squat/push up/vibrator plate session around the house in the day.
Once a week I usually go climbing for a couple of hours.

The last two weeks I have GAINED weight (half a pound a week) and have no idea why. I have been so disciplined with my diet and exercise.

What am I not doing right?
Thanks
:)

What am I not doing right?
It sounds to me like nothing. Weight just fluctuates, even if you are losing weight it is never consistent. Based on what you are eating and your exercise I am pretty sure you are losing fat every day. However your body's water content varies and so your weight loss doesn't always track your real loss.

Tell us a little more about yourself, age, sex, height, weight, how much weight have you lost so far ect would help people answer.

... I have about 7lbs left to lose....

winter is always a tough few months for me... yes, even in SoCal... it's mostly the early darkness and ok, cool temps. right now i'm about 10lbs over my low weight. spring will be here soon and i will likely lose some/ most of this winter weight again.

i guess my point is that my "fit" window is bigger than your goal weight. i suppose i have a better excuse ... i've been pretty lazy and on top of that i just got my foot operated on, so even walking will be off the schedule for a month.

what is your goal weight in terms of BMI? ...easier for me to picture.
are you at 26 trying to get to 24? ...or are you at 24 trying to get to 22?

...big difference.

Thank you both for your friendly responses, that’s helpful.
I’m female, 29 years old. I’m 165cm and currently 57kg hoping to get to 54kg. So far I’ve lost 3kg.
Although my BMI falls in “healthy” range I have quite a small frame and am carrying excess fat. I’m very flabby, with “chubby” appearance and waist measurement is over the NHS “healthy waist measurement” recommendation.

I appreciate any tips, the internet is a confusing place.

Thanks x

Ps - overlandflyer I hope your foot gets better soon :)

the internet is a confusing place
Absolutely! But if you stick around a bit I think you will find this place relatively easy to maneuver. And you are welcome, you will find everyone here is pretty friendly.

Your goals appear quite reasonable and achievable. You will find others here similar to you.

My tip is that you should start a diary on the Weight Loss Diary page https://weight-loss.fitness.com/forums/weight-loss-diary.9/ . You should repeat some of the biographical stuff here; tell people who you are and what your goals are. Say whatever you want. Then start posting your food and exercise regularly so people can get a sense as to what you are doing. That will both help you see yourself a little more clearly, and give people here information so they can better advise and support.

You can do this!

Hello, Ncro - good to have you here with us! Like Rob says, a diary is a good place for us to get to know you, and help you as best we can. It's also good to really explore the site - there's all sorts of delights here, in other people's diaries, in special-interest groups (for example, the Intermittent Fasting thread), in helpful sections, like recipes or discussion of motivation... lots to see and enjoy and join in!
