Well they just legalized absinthe in the US a few years ago. Absinthe with coc......... Not so much an option.

Today has been the kinda day that......... Well just that kind of day.

Food.....

Breakfast- 7 ounces of cottage cheese with a diced peach single. (299 Calories)

Lunch- Scrambled eggs and bacon. (588 Calories)

Dinner- Mixed fresh fruit. (500calories)

Calories = 1387

Today was just long. I just did alot of running around.

Food.....

Breakfast-2 wraps with liverwurst and mustard.

Lunch/Dinner- Bbq ribs, potato salad, baked beans.

I use a german style whole grain type mustard. It's got a kick and really yummy

You can really get both typ

You can get it here in both styles. The sausage style looks alot like bratwurst. That one is harder to find unless you find your way into a german meat shop.
When most here think of liverwurst they are referring to the paté. You can get it in a jar that's completely spreadable or a semi soft one that comes wrapped in a plastic casing. It's soft but you are able to slice it. The one I use is actually braunsweiger. Its simply a medium to a soft liverwurst that has been smoked.View attachment 24751

I woke up today at 6am and haven't been able to get back to sleep so I guess I'm up. I'm planning on doing some kitchen stuff today. I really havent been "cooking" much because I really don't have anything prepped. I'll make up my seasoning blend. It's just things like onion and fire roasted bell pepper and garlic chopped and put in a container. It's my throw it in everything mix. I bought a food processor months and months ago and haven't used it yet so maybe I'll make a batch of hummus. Take some things out of the deep freeze outside and put in in the freezer in the house. I just need to do some kitchen busy work I guess.

Hummus with roasted peppers is amazing! Needs a lot less oil that way, too.

I think your choice of liverwurst is about the same as ours then. Wasn't sure, given the schnitzel controversy.

The roasted pepper I love in hummus. I'll look up how to make it in a bit.

I've been there and food is good. Hotdogs chili fried cheese fries topped with chili and cheese. It's not good for you by any stretch of the imagination but good. The name is so wrong though......
