Rebel's Diary

Long day, but it sounds like it could really pay off. Having a more normal blood pressure again, maybe having an easier time dealing with your bipolar and getting rid of the cravings? That would be one hell of a successful doctor´s visit!
Yea, that's how im thinking about it.
How was your day?

What a great DR's visit! Reducing the strength of any medication can only be a good thing, especially when you think how much healthier your body must be after the weight loss. Good motivation to keep going :D

I reached the point where my office was warmer than the air outside before noon so I decided to work with the terrace door open - 82 Fahrenheit is better than 90 after all - but I was still drenched in sweat after a day of exercising with little old ladies (including 2.5 hours of deep-tissue massages). But it´s nice to have my body be more tired than my mind.

Ladies don't sweat, they perspire ;)
That made my day. Just something my grandmother used to say.

Never ending day....
Bought groceries at the grocery and also the health foods store. I did find out anything that has the term all natural or organic or no added sugar = $$$$$$$$$$$

Sadly true. From a health point of view "all natural" and "organic" are meaningless, by the way (at least here in Europe; I never checked the US numbers). So is "no added sugar" if you don´t also look at the ingredients list. It´s infuriating to see how often that just means they added stuff that are basically sugar but sound better. Or it means they added more fat to still get something tasty. I´ve pretty much given up on most packaged foods (not mentioning the cevapcici I just put into the fridge to thaw).

Hope you got some delicious food that´ll do good things for your body and soul. I´m having a potato-and-chickpea bowl for breakfast. With all the noms.

Cevapcici.... Had to look that one up. Looks tasty.........
Ummm.. I bought a whole lot of fresh veggies, different meats even chicken sausage; im pretty sure that would be sacrilegious around these parts but oh well. I also got some fresh ground peanut butter. Kinda cool a industrial coffee grinder thing with a hopper full of unsalted roasted peanuts connected to it. I made a little sample in the store; not sure if i was really supposed to but its just that damn rebel gene ;)
Now maybe ill eat. Since my doc put me on the diet pill thing eating just hasnt been there. Partly not hungry partly just been running around abunch. So going to start fresh tomorrow.

Rebel without a plate?
:grouphug: Hope a good night's sleep will bring back an appetite for things that help build/maintain a strong body without bringing along cravings for stuff that makes you feel meh afterwards.

Yea, i improvised :)
Sounds like a Sesame Street lesson :p *Improvise!*

Saw an advertisement for a British beer today: little Rebel. Can´t upload the picture I took and sadly I only saw it after I´d paid so I didn´t have a taste but I thought I´d mention it anyway because it reminded me of you :)

Had two Guillotines, a Mongozo and a brussels´ sprouts burger instead, little Rebel :)
Well its 330 so just had breakfast. Was just going to have a cup of coffee but i heard this lil voice saying thats not enough. Ended up with 4 fried eggs and 3 strips of thick cut pepper bacon. Feels weird eating when your not hungry. I guess the diet pills are doing what they're supposed too. Lunch ummm maybe steamed bok choy and ill prob make some sort of dipping sauce. Maybe onion ginger garlic soy seasame oil and maybe some siracha just to heat it up a bit. Dinner....... No idea

I like the lil voice. Diet pill time is probably a good time to plan out your meals, calories and all, and eat them at set times. Regularity should be good for body and mind.
Supplementing your calories with (a) beer once a week is no problem, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you it shouldn't become habit. I don't have to, but I'm doing it anyway because apparently it's pretty common for people who lose a ton of weight to switch to another addiction.
