Jumping Jacks/calories

The webs have varying answers on exactly how many calories are burned during jumping Jacks, curious if anyone knows for sure?
Is it 100 calories for ten minutes? A calorie per jump?
I gather it depends on intensity and current weight, so for the purposes of my question: I am ideal weight for my size and do about one jumping jack per second.
(Asking because for the first time in over six months I ate a bunch of dark chocolate and put real sugar in my coffee leaving me over 250 calories over... budget for the day. Is like to get them taken care of. I NEVER go over my. Max. Smh... super annoyed with myself really)

I'm not sure as I know the results can vary online, but I do know jumping is considered an intense exercise. I went on a backyard trampoline after not having been on one in years and I was EXHAUSTED. The exercise ones are probably less dramatic, but they accomplish a lot int erms of calories burned. Jumping Jacks are much more difficult as you don't have the spring to help you.
I think you should incorporate them! If I didn't live in a little apartment in which jumping would annoy the crap out of my neighbours, I'd love to do them!

I did about 4 minutes of jumping Jacks the other day, one minute each separated by a minute. I was going for at least five minutes but couldn't do it. And oh my god my calves. That in addition to my weight training had me MESSED UP. Couldn't sit without groaning. Still sore lol. Had to take a Tylenol today to get to a meeting.
Jumping Jacks are serious business. I didn't even know.
Back in the day I could do them for an hour straight no problem thought they were bs. I was either wrong, or I'm extremely out of shape after this last illness. Shudder. .. you should incorporate them too.

Congratulations! I *think* this is one of those exercises that produces quick results in a short period of time so you don't need to push yourself to do them for 30-60 minutes, but rather 5-10 minutes with proper form. So even though it's only 5 minutes, be proud of yourself! It's an intense exercise!
If I didn't live in an apartment, I'd be more likely to do them, but I imagine I'd end up shaking the light fixtures of the poor soul beneath me, lol.

PS Is your name from the Bible, Greek mythology or were you just fan of the Shadow Hunter series?
