Hey guys.
Well.. I have completely reformed my diet over the past while and have began running normally for about 45 mins a day, sometimes I would do one of these runs during the day and one at night.
At the moment I weigh 145 pounds now apparently (10.5 stone) and i'm rather short (sucks, but thats the way it is :/) 5"2 almost. Well I'm 15 so I've probably a bit to grow. Anyway! I didnt weigh myself before I started excercising but I'll get onto the point of this thread!
Apparently I'm overweight, my BMI is about 27 more or less. But I've been told by people i'm quite a "stocky" build, especially for my size.. whatever that means :S
I'm guessing its something to do with muscle, my dad says i'd make a pretty decent rugby player, my shoulders are kind of wide and my chest sticks out kind of (not really from fat, because it feels sort of firm and not flabby)
Anyway, here are my main questions:
After reading all that do you think i'm "overweight" as such? I've heard many people say on this forum that you can be underweight and have a lot of fat (which i'm sure isint really healthy)
But I dont think I'm living that unhealthily. I was.. well.. before I started cutting out the crap about a month or two ago, can most of my BMI weight come from my structure and "muscle" as it where? I'm not a bodybuilder, but I do crunches, pressups and weights near enough every night...
I have lost some weight, (a few pounds this week) which is nice. But I'm gonna keep going every day, hopefully for the rest of my life to stay in shape and healthy.
Apart from yesterday (it was my friends birthday, had a few cans of coke and some chicken.. but not much
) I havent ate ANY crap whatsoever and its really working.
So, can the BMI be wrong? I'm guessing its more aimed towards adults than people my age but i've just began thinking my structure is affecting my weight (making me heavier)..
Arrgh im so confused >.<
I know i've blabberd on in this thread, sorry about that but I would love if some of you could answer my questions. Thanks a lot in advance everybody!
