The thing to keep in mind is that those bars are often glorified candy bars, full of sugars and junk, just with some added protein. Don't think that just because it is marketed as healthy that it is.
Things like protein bars can be helpful as an occasional way to get in calorie/protein requirements, but shouldn't be used on a daily basis as part of your eating plan.
In a perfect world, you would get all your nutrients from real food, but in the real world, sometimes supplements and convenience items can become somewhat of an occasional necessity. If you want to use bars to help fill in the gap every once in a while, look for one that has less fat/cal than that, and is low in sugar (some of them are quite high).
Also, look into a protein powder instead. Many of them have better quality protein, and less added junk, but are just as convenient as all you have to do is add milk and shake or stir.
