Lifting 2 Times A Week To Maintain?

Wow, that's a shame as I love liver.

You can still eat liver. Just don't eat the livers of carnivores in mass quantities and you should be fine. Like almost anything else, adhere to the mean. Aristotle and Confucius knew what they were talking about.

Hey, What does liver taste like anyway?

It varies from animal to animal, but it generally has a rich taste. I like chicken liver and calf liver, although when we barbecue I sometimes have raw cow liver in sesame oil.

Raw...liver...sounds...yuck...

I'm surprised you eat raw meat, You seem like the type that would list the possibility of bacterial insertion from ingesting raw meat...

It's really good. It's smooth and rich.

I prefer to eat my animal products raw or at least very undercooked. Health controls are so strict that infection is very unlikely. I eat raw beef, chicken, pork, ham, chicken, horse, and many different kinds of seafood. Once when I was at the tide pools with some friends we gorged ourselves on sea urchins that we plucked out of the water and ate on the spot, as well as an octopus that we ate alive.

Any pill you take is mostly binders. If they weren't, they would be minuscule.

A capsule can dissolve in under 5 min. The contents of which have no binders.

That is awesome.

For those who do not know. If you hunt, process, and eat your own meat the likelihood of any type of contamination is virtually nil. Contamination is generally due to improper handling.

Yeah, But who does that? Who kills their own cows (for example) in a sanitary environment then processes quickly before bacteria can begin to fester and so on?

I said "pill". I expected a reply about capsules. While the gelatin capsule certainly is a binder, it is not the only one in a capsule. The powder which is inside most capsules contains a great deal of fillers because again, if it were 100% active ingredients, the capsule would be minuscule. For example, a capsule that contains a dose of 1mg of a drug would be 1/25th the size of a drop of water, assuming the powder were the same density as water.

That is awesome.

Yeah, it was great. It was an adult, so we chopped off the tentacles and each had one to chew on. It gripped my hand for about 10-15 after being severed.

Not cows. Every hunter I know does it. One of my friends feeds his family year round with deer, duck, fish, and... really anything else that he gets.

My uncle raises pigs, turkeys, and chickens. They eat all of their own meat and eggs. He gets deer as well.

It is all better tasting and healthier as well. No drugs and lower fat content.

No one. If you went inside a meat processing plant today, you would be amazed at the cleanliness and attention to measures to prevent the spread of pathogens. They do a far better job than any layman could hope to do. It's nice to eat a fresh fish that you just caught a few minutes ago, but I don't fool myself into thinking that it's more healthful or safer than the meat I buy at the supermarket.

Sometimes it doesn't matter. Companies are allowed a certain number of animal wastes to seep into their processed foods. Somewhere I read that the average person eats half a pound of mouse feces in their life time, from products like cereal and bread.

Some people have even found roach legs in their pizza rolls:drooling1:

You read an urban legend.

Where do you live Silent? I was under the impression you were from Texas.

I've seen several cows slaughtered, as well as deer and other animals. My papaw doesn't keep cows anymore, but all the men in my family still make sausage and bacon (deer/pork), and so does most everyone I know (at least after hunting season they do). Believe it or not, they are not toothless rednecks either.

Lots of people hunt, fish, and raise animals to one degree or another.

So, Silent, no one hunts where you are in TX? I'd like to see that.

i have got to jump on board with her. furthermore, if you are even old enough, your behavior is 'unaccountable' and 'honor is lost'

AND, I am not a mason. i have not had the honor of sponsorship. And if in fact you are, i would question whether the invite were an honor or not.

Good grab there Deschain,,, maybe this "grit," "spine," and "core" type of topic will help us get real and find some unity. What do you say Tan?

UFC tonight baby!!!

That is a misconception. One is not invited to become a Mason. In fact, it is against Masonic law. If you wish to be made a Mason, simply ask. If you are interested, I can tell you how to contact. Depending on your state, you need to be between 18 and 21.

I don't understand the question.

I am a female. However, both of my grandfathers are Masons (though not active). There are also a lot of Baptists here, and, frankly, there are a heck of a lot of old white Baptist Masons. That, and I find it interesting.

FF - As I understand it, you must ask one in order to become one. No one will approach you to join.

Lol, I am from texas. But, I wasn't talking about hunting, or fishing. I was talking about slaughtering Cows! I don't know of many people who on a regular basis would kill their own cow to eat its meat raw to ensure as best they can its decently bacteria free.
Remember, My post was in context of Tan's talking about eating raw meat...
