Hi all, I'm a new member.
For the past 8 months since I injured my Right shoulder (Football Injury), it has been hanging down. It is very noticable and at times embarrasing because I have somewhat of a muscular upper body, (combination of a little baby fat & weight training - 6"1 190, I'm 17 ).
I completed the Physio for about 2 months immediately after, and now I'm just following an all-around workout schedule (Tuesday-Pulling, Thursday-Pushing, Saturday-Legs). [Mon,Wed,Fri, I do alot of pushups, stretching and a shoulder shrug exercise (bring shoulders to ears, drop and repeat) that I was taught while doing physiotheraphy]
But still, my right shoulder improvement has been minimal, and my doctor recently said it should be fine In another year - I'm not sure what to think... he told me that 8 months ago too... while showing off to his colleages about never seeing anything like this before. I'm a little bit uneasy about him... his advice was "keep working at it" - I was looking for something specific, but, is this what I need to do?
I'm anxious to know if you guys & gals know of any exercises that can really improve my posture and strenthen my right Deltoid. More reps? Less Reps? What are some excercises that will definetely help? I might be doing something wrong right now?
