Hello everybody!

My name is Pamela, and I just had my last kid a year ago. I'm trying to get rid of all my mid-section weight. Any help I can get would be great. I'm eating healthier, and I've already lost 11lbs! I'm 5' 1 1/2" and 129lbs.
If any body can help me it would be great!!!!

Welcome to the forum - post a diary in the Women's Health section with your goals, diet and exercise routines and I'm sure you'll get a lot of advice and support.

(Glad to see a fellow Pennsylvanian here :))

Congrats on your baby, keep up the good work. A healthy diet, cardio and light weight training would be beneficial if you already aren't doing those.

Problems

I'll do my diary after dinner so I have all the correct information.

But I have an urgent problem I really need help with.
After I exercise, I feel really sick like I'm gong to throw up, it lasts for sometimes 4 to 5 mins.

Could it be my multi-vitamin?
I've never had problems with it before.

Am I not eating enough in the morning?

Yesterday it was really bad, and what I had for breakfast was A big bowl of Special K, and a banana.
Then I did a rally good work out with "Zumba advanced workout" (I love that video)

So why is this happening to me?

i would leave it longer or eat smaller if you cant. It wouldnt be as bad if it was a weights workout but intensive cardio can be a pain after a meal. Try something that will be lighter on your stomach rather than a big bowl of cereal.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

I would wait at least an hour or two before engaging in any cardio exercise after a fairly sized meal; if you have the time then wait three hours, have a quick snack an hour or so before workout and then workout.

You may be getting the sick, nautious feeling because you are pushing yourself too much and overworking your body, try exercising a little bit less to see if you still encounter the problem.

welcome to the forum!! Can you send me some cool "german/dutch Hex Signs" from the Kuztown festival??? Love that thing! And those things scare the crap out of the locals down here when I tell them what they are....LOL

Well the reason that I exercise so soon is because I have to pick up the boy I babysit at school, by 11:30am. In the morning I have three kids to feed, ,then I get to feed myself, so I really only have three hours all together, and I usually like to work-out for at least 45 mins, and then there's getting the kids dressed and ready, and me getting a shower and soing my hair.

Also, What should I eat for dinner, because, I usually make stuff that I know I shouldn't eat before going to bed like three hours later.
LAst night was a pork roast with carrots and celery, and mashed potatoes. I didn't touch the potatoes, and had some pork and celery and carrots, and had a salad instead. was that the right move?

Tonight is spagetti and meatballs.

You can use fitday.com to track your food intake, to make sure you're getting the right amount of calories/carbs/proteins/fats etc.

I exercise in the morning around 10am-10:30am.
I drink a gallon of water a day.
I have three kids, I sleep off and on durring the night. I would think tht I get around 6 hours of sleep per night.

What you could do is split your morning meal, eat a small meal 45 minutes before work out and then consume another meal shortly after workout. I'm not sure if you have time for this, but if you do maybe doing this will help with the problem and give you enough to run on.

Check out the nutrition section of the forums, and I rather liked LV's grocery shopping list. Look there for some good eats. Also potatoes are rather nutritious, you don't want to overload on anything, but you don't need to be afraid of eating them.

Yum. :)

WEll, my sister tells me that i can't eat certin foods at night. I thought I would never be able to eat mashed potatoes again.
I'm really afraid that I'm not getting enough calories.
So are you telling me that I can eat the same thing as my family at night?
I hate cooking everybody else food, then have to cook my self a completely different meal.

Also, I'm also freaking hungry, I feel like I'm eating yogurt, and fruit and healthy snacks all day long.

Does it matter how long after you eat that you lay down to go to bed?

Sorry for all the questions, but I really want to get fit.

in an ideal world you will have bigger meals in the morning and lower carb and casein protein based meals on a night time. if your burning more calories than you consume it wont make a huge difference. What time would you have your last meal and what time do you sleep?

i'd just say be sensible. Don't get too hung up on it. If your making gains dont worry. Exercise hard and smart and you will be ok.
