Fatigue

I posted my work out/diet in the Weight loss forums:

I find my days at work (up by 6:15, leave by 6:45, gym by 6:15, home by 7:45/8) aren't too fatigued and neither are my nights after my work out. But when I wake up in the morning I struggle in every respect. I feel like i've got nothing in me left. By the end of hte day i feel a ton better, but is there any food/programs people have find to be succesful that helps to eliminate morning physical/mental fatigue?

Do you stretch after your workout? If not, you need to do that. I also stretch now in-between sets to get my muscles full strength from the first set. It helps a lot

I have the same problem. I have tryed many many things, the only thing that had ever worked for me is to eat a good breakfast with lots of slow burning carbs and protein (but low in fat) and take a walk. But If your at work you may not have time for all this.

It also helps if you have a nice large bowl of oats before you go to bed and dont get too much sleep.
I find that If I get more than 7hours sleep I feel worse in the morning.

I really don't have the time to walk because of work. So having a large amount of slow burning carbs (oats?) for dinner/breakfest would help decrease morning fatigue? Also does 1 egg over easy between an english muffin work? I sprinkle a bit of garlic powder on it, and on occasion a peice of cheese (montery/pepperjack). This seems to be working for morning.

Evening is there a good drink besides water/cranberry juice/tea (which i currently drink at night) that would help with morning recovery?

I've had the same problem. For me, it was a combination of three things:
1) Too much sleep. Like R.Lewis if I get more than 7-8 hours, I feel groggy all morning.
2) Not "cooling-down" after my night exercises with stretching, etc.
3) Not drinking enough water. Especially since I wasn't stretching, all the toxins I built up while exercising just kinda stayed where they were, and gave me a nice hello in the morning.
