I've chosen walking as my first exercise program to get back into shape. I figure i have about 20 pounds to loose but my primary goal is to up my energy level.
My metabolism seems to be going at turtle speed since i'm always tired. I basically have the energy of a 70 year old...and I'm 23!!!

Not normal, specially because I've always eaten very well, so i'm getting the nutrients i need. It's my body that is just very out of shape, I feel weak and whimpy!!

I'm starting very slow, with small goals.

My first goal is to try to walk everyday this week for an hour. I probably won't be able to everyday so 4-5 times this week will be great.

First walk= total success!!

hey!, I've returned from my first one hour walk and I'm so proud of myself!:sifone:
And walking an hour goes by way faster than i would of expected, I just walk for 30 min, than turn around and come back for another 30 min.
I had brought my Ipod but after 20 min it stoped working, i think it's because it was so cold( -28 degrees!) So I was kinda bummed out not to have music anymore but then i just started thinking about alot of stuff and I really enjoyed this time with myself.
I'm really looking forward to having this one hour period in my day when I can just tune in to myself, it's really meditative and i love it.
