Your Halloween Costume

Ok that time of year is coming where you get to dress up as something or someone you have always wanted to be. I am going to a Halloween Costume party this coming weekend so I went costume shopping today.

I want to know what your costume is for this Halloween...if you are not wearing one this year then tell me what you would be if you were dressing up.

Me I was going to be a Pirate but I changed my mind while shopping and I am now going to be a Greek Goddess. One I get the chance I will post pictures me me all dressed up....


So go ahead...lets hear what you are going to go Trick or Treating in.
 
I thought of the best costume ever, but one of my friends just burst my bubble about it, saying it was unoriginal. I had NEVER heard of this costume before, but apparently I am just not cool enough to think of my own idea...

Wrap up my chest in wrapping paper, then tie a big bow or two around myself. Then, I add in a big tag saying:
"To: Women
From: God"

Now, I thought this was effin hillarious and original, but my friend says no... has anyone else ever seen this done? I was all effin excited, but if that costume is unoriginal, it would come across as more creepy than funny...

^lol, well that one made me roll my eyes. :p But I would say it's original. The concept of it isn't but the costume itself is. Haven't seen anyone in a costume like that myself. :)
 
I think your friend whats to steal your idea. I never heard of that idea before and it sounds hilarious. I also think you have to have the right personality to pull it off. If you walk around on a everyday basis with the "I'm God's gift to women" mentality, then it probably won't go over too well. People will roll their eyes. But, if you are modest and would never behave that way generally, then you should get a lot of laughs. Have fun!

Last year I was a Pro Athlete who had signed a huge contract and gained a bunch of weight during the off season. I was dressed in a medium workout shirt (I required XXL at the time) and some shorts. I carried around a fake contract. I got second place out of a few hundred people haha. I won a bike :)

I think I might steal your idea for the gift thing, if you don't mind haha.

NO!!!

Yeah, of course you can... I'm just really using it as a conversation starting piece, and possibly a good line to end the night with a smile. As opposed to the ever-lame "Hey, wanna go check out <something lame> over here in my room?", it's gonna be "Hey, wanna go open your present?"

SUPER lame, but I will then be able to say that I used the lamest line ever, and won. It's all about the stories.
 
as long as you can pull if off with a sense of humor :) then it's all good.

if you actually beleive it to be true... well then expect to be knocked down a few pegs :) but sounds like you're not taking it seriously so just work it.. .

and those jeans look FIIINE on you -but they'd look better on the floor by my bed :)

I'm tempted to say "oh, yes ma'am" due to the discussion in the "ugh, girls" thread, but I will keep that to myself and not say it. :-D

And PLEASE believe... the sense of humor is what is going to make it work! It'll be fish in a barrel, darlin... Fish in a barrel.

I've seen it on some t-shirts before, exactly like how you described. The t-shirt had printed ribbons and a bow, and a card that said To: Women
From: God.

As for it being a Halloween costume, I think it's pretty good. With the box and everything, it'll make it come alive :)

I found a khaki top and some beige shorts from a whiiiile back

And I have green face paint and a toy gun

Hardly constitutes a costume but I can't afford one!

Hopefully will be too drunk to care :)

I was walking down jackson avenue, in chicago earlier -and there was a very tall gentleman with a very fine looking behind. (I notice these things) and he was wrapped up in a big bow, with a tag board sign - To: Women, From : God....

I really did think it was you :)
