young diesting?

young dieting?

I am 13 and was wanting a six pack or at least good abs. I have been doing some crunches and starting to exercise some too but I have read that I should be eating better too but every diet i have seen has been for adults. Whats a good way for someone 13 yrs old. And what kind of foods are worst?

Dieting for young athelets

Well your a growing boy (or girl, I don't know) and you have to make sure you're eating enough protein (eggs, turkey, chicken, meats, sea food, etc.) and vegetables. Try to eat 5 to 6 small meals a day, this is much better than just 3 a day. It keeps your metabolism up high so your body burns more fat. If you have any other questions just let me know.

Try to eat some protein after you workout too(30 min or so after). If you gain muscle, then that muscle will work with your cardio to help burn fat. I wouldn't work out *too* hard though.
